*Miranda's POV*

I informed Nathan and Adrianna about meeting Jeanne.

"I was kind of hoping to go to a couple little shops around the concert venue before the show. Is that okay?" Nathan asked.

"Yeah sure, that'd be cool," I responded.

"We still have time before we have to meet Jeanne, so we're good," added Adrianna.

"Okay let's go!" I exclaimed.

We walked to the car that Nathan borrowed from his dad's car dealership. It was a shiny black, luxurious SUV. We were definitely riding in style! Adrianna rode shotgun and I hopped in the back.

About 20 minutes later we arrived at the venue and Nathan found a parking spot. We got out and started to walk towards the main street where the shops were.

"How about here?" I pointed to an older style store called "Trinkets." It appeared to be an old apartment with rickety red shutters, converted into a small shop. It looked unique and I wanted to explore it.

We walked into the store to find all kinds of souvenirs, jewellery, and collectables.

After looking around for a couple minutes, I gasped.

"Guys! Check out this necklace! It's so Ever After-esque!" I fangirled over this beautiful necklace. It had a brushed silver vintage style key with a heart shaped locket. And it was only $16, which wasn't too expensive for a necklace of this quality.

They both laughed.

"It is and it'll look great with that outfit," Nathan, the little fashionista, said excitedly.

I bought the necklace and left the store.

We hit a couple stores, finally ending up getting a sub for dinner.

Once I finished eating, I took the tag off of the necklace I bought. I moved my hair out of the way, unclasped the necklace and put it around my neck. The metal was cool against my skin. I looked down at the necklace once I had clasped it back on, and admired it's beauty.

"Okay guys, it's 6:30, we should get going now to meet Jeanne," Adrianna mentioned, looking at my necklace. "Wow the length is perfect!" she said.

"Alrighty! I'm so excited!" I exclaimed excitedly, the butterflies in my stomach were stronger than ever.

*Josh's POV*

"Check, check, cheeeeeeeccccck!" I boomed into the microphone.

The band joined in with some crazy voices to test their mics as well. We all laughed.

We'd been at the venue for about an hour and just finished our sound check.

"Okay boys, we're all set!" Mike exclaimed, pumping his fist in the air.

"Let's do this!" Matt joined in.

We peeked out the curtains of the show, there were tons of fans filing in from every direction. I always got excited when we were about to start a show. I was born to be on that stage.

The opening band went on first. I couldn't remember what their band name was, I made a mental note to figure it out before I talked to them.

They were pretty good. You could tell they were just starting out, but I mean everyone has to start somewhere.

"Are you guys ready for, drumroll please......Marianas Trench!" their leader singer chanted into the microphone. The crowd went wild!

The band and I did our pre-show chant, I took a last sip of my Coke Zero and next thing we knew I was loaded into the jack-in-the-box and being lifted up onto the stage.

*Miranda's POV*

"Eeeeep they're on next!" I squealed from our seats, which were excellent. They were right above the general admission area, and completely centred with the stage.

"I know!" Adrianna agreed.

"Okay let's place a bet here, $5 that they open the show with Ever After," I bet.

"I don't think so, I think they'll start with their latest hit, By Now," Adrianna said.

"Doubt it! But you're on girlfriend!" I shook Adrianna's hand.

Nathan just looked at us and laughed.

"Come on now, don't tell me your not the least bit excited to be here!" Adrianna teased.

"I never said I wasn't excited."

Adrianna and I sighed.

All of a sudden the lights went dim and then we saw a black and white swirly box rise up from below the stage. Josh Ramsay popped up from inside it and started singing Ever After.

"Hand it over sista!" I said in a street cred worthy accent.

We both laughed and all became entranced in the world of Toyland.
