*Miranda's POV*

Adrianna and I fangirled over how cute both our stories were, and about twenty minutes later, we left the bathroom to go meet up with our beaus.

Adrianna saw Matt talking to Jeanne. He waved subtly with a cute grin on his face, so we went over to join them.

"I was just telling Matt here, that I'll be on my way. It's pretty late and I'm not as young as I used to be," Jeanne said, winking. It was pretty late, well I suppose early in the morning, but I was having too much fun to want to go yet.

We thanked Jeanne a thousand times and hugged her goodbye.

Once she left, I asked Matt if he'd seen Josh.

"I saw him briefly, he was on his way to the bathroom, but I think he went the other way instead," he answered.

We waited a bit, and the three of us had a conversation. Well it was mainly Adrianna and him talking about chords and me smiling and nodding along, having no clue what the heck they were talking about.

A considerable amount of time passed, and I was getting worried about Josh.

"Wanna go check the bathroom for me?" I asked Matt, with a big smile.

He checked and came back shaking his head. Where was he?! I was getting even more worried, and prayed he was okay.

"I'm just going to ask around and-" I started, but was cut off with a not-so-sober Ian.

"Whatcha lookin' for?" he slurred, draping his arm around me.

"Josh, have you seen him?"

"Oh yeah man! I was outside getting some air and he almost hit me with his car!" he exclaimed, his eyes widened.

Ian continued with, "well it wasn't him driving. It was a chick."

"A chick? Which chick?!" I could feel the blood boiling inside me. I knew who it was, I just needed confirmation to believe it.

"Cali, or Carley, somethin' like that."

"Let me guess, it was Carrie wasn't it?" I was furious. How could he do something like this to me? How could Josh pick Carrie over me? After everything that happened tonight. I could feel the tears stinging my eyes.

"Yeah dude! You win the prize," he slurred, sleepily.

"Come on Ian, you need to sit down, and have a coffee," Matt said, like the good friend that he is.

"Adrianna, get Nathan, I want to go home," I ordered.

"Okay hon, I'm so sorry this happened," she consoled, rubbing my back. The tears starting running down my cheeks. I was sure my mascara was running and turning me into looking like a raccoon.

Adrianna kissed Matt goodbye, and handed him her cell number on a piece of paper.

A few moments later, Adrianna had brought over Nathan and Darla. I watched as she filled them in on what happened.

Darla looked like she was going to be sick and was so apologetic, "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry."

It's not her fault, I don't know why she's apologizing. The four of us walked down to Nathan's black SUV, and we drove off in silence, first to drop Darla off.

I knew I shouldn't have fallen for Josh. He was a rockstar and bound to break my heart. I sobbed quietly into the passenger seat door, all the way home.
