*Matt's POV*

~Meanwhile~

"Thank god you came, man!" the 28 year old shirtless male greeted me, "I've been wandering around here like this for at least the past half hour!"

I laughed, and he explained the story, adding animated gestures here and there.

"So I'm guessing you still need a shirt?" I asked him.

"Nah, I think I'll just walk out of here shirtless, no biggie," Josh said sarcastically, "Duh man! That's why I texted you!"

He smacked me on the arm.

"Okay, okay," I whined, "I'll check and see if I have an extra."

I walked into our dressing room to find a complete and utter mess!

"Josh! What the hell?!"

There were clothes everywhere, and I mean everywhere.

"Oh yeah, sorry about that, I'll clean it up. Like I told you, I've been desperately searching for a shirt," he explained.

I sighed, and found my big dark blue suitcase with the label of my name on it, on one of the shelves. I unzipped it and looked in. Luckily, I had a loose style T-shirt with a small cut-out V neckline, with the words "To Dare Is To Be" on it. Matt Webb to the rescue.

I tossed Josh the shirt.

"Thanks man! It's da bomb!" he exclaimed, putting it on over his head.

"Come on, let's go. People are going to start wondering if you fell down the rabbit hole to Wonderland with Alice," I told him.

He laughed while looking in the closest mirror to fix his blonde and blue hair.

*Miranda's POV*

~Back in the backstage room~

"It's just that, well," Jeanne started. I was so worried for what she was going to say next. "Josh doesn't always show up to these types of things. I mean he's a busy guy and sometimes after shows he just wants to be left alone, or in a smaller group of people. But that's understandable, he must get tired after putting on all those shows. "

"Oh," was all I managed to say. I started to worry, what if I didn't get to meet him? It would be so disappointing. It was all I could do to hold back tears.

I saw Adrianna was no longer with Matt, so I went up to her and we started talking. I told her about what Jeanne said.

"We're not giving up okay? I'm not leaving here until Mr. Ramsay shows up for you!" she said, confidently. "He'll come, I know he will."

I smiled feebly, and she gave me a hug. We shifted our attention to Nathan and Darla.

"Hey, is that Darla Taylor that Nathan's getting all cozy with?" she teased. He had his one arm around her shoulders and the other helping her hold her paddle. It looked like he was teaching her better techniques for ping pong.

"Yup, that's her. Aww they look so cute!" I cooed. Not wanting to stare, we turned around from the table.

That's when my eyes turned to meet some cobalt blue eyes, about 20ft away.

He stood there in the doorway, and I quickly checked him out. He was wearing a white T-shirt, had his hands in his black skinny jeans' pockets, with his blonde and blue hair in all its glory, and pink boating shoes. He looked amazing.

It was as if the entire room of people emptied, and Josh Ramsay and I were the only two people in it. I gave a sweet smile, that was mirrored by him. Then he shyly looked away.

This moment was interrupted by a girl who I later recognized to be Phoebe Dykstra from Much Music. From what I read, the two of them were buddies. They were in an in depth conversation, so I left them to it. I didn't want to be rude and interrupt.

It continued like that for a few moments, then they left.

"Adrianna, come! We're following them!" I directed, linking arms with her.

"You creep!" she laughed.

"I don't care, I'm not letting him get away without talking to me!" I said.

We followed close, but not too close behind them. When they stopped in the hall we stopped about 5ft behind them.

"I have a story to tell you, come on!" Josh said to Phoebe.

She looked back at me apologetically, and said, "We'll be back, I promise."

So close, yet so far. I nodded, and watched as they went into a back hallway.

All I heard was, "So that little bastard stole my shirt!" as they walked away.

I giggled at Josh and his crazy story.

Adrianna and I went back into the main room, where she got some more nachos, and I waited for Josh's return, rather impatiently.
