Chapter 3: Fruit Loop

I heard kips voice and kept riding my penny ignoring them. I felt someone grab my shirt and my penny board went rolling.

"Oh dear god let go I can't breathe" I choked out to kip, who was tightly griping the neck of my shirt.

He loosed his grip and spun me around to face him and his little clan of friends.

"Hello to you too princess" he smirked.

"I am NOT your princess anymore. Now let me go so I'm not late."

"Oh no you can't be late can you!?" He mimicked me in his best voice.

"No I can't now let me go"

Who does he think he is!? He's not my boyfriend! He has no control over me!

I tried to pull away when I felt his lips crash on mine. He kisses hard. Most people start soft and progress but not kip. He bit my lip fast and entered his tongue. I pulled out and slapped him. Yeah not my smartest move. I ran over, picked up my penny and ran off towards school.

He yelled after me, "you slut! your gonna regret doing that Katie Lynn cooper!"

A cool breeze hit my face as I walked into my school.

"THERE'S MY WITTLE FRUIT LOOP!!" Lauren shrieked behind me, making me jump 5 feet into the building (being facetious)

"Do not ever do that to me again Lauren!

"Ok ok I won't!"

She seems awfully happy too. What is going on today!?

"Ok so I'm coming home with you today and were gonna do some talking and catching up!"

She normally wears a chain bracelet with ribbon threaded through it, on her wrist. But she's not today. If I'm thinking correctly, her boyfriend gave it to her two years ago. They've been dating for 3 years.

"Hey what happened to your chain?" I questioned her referring to the bracelet.

"Oh. Um. Nothing. I just took it off."

I could see the tears forming in her eyes.

"Lauren I'm so sorry"

"It's fine. Don't be sorry." She said , softly wiping stray tears.

"You really loved him didn't you. "

The bell rang to go to class.

"Well let's go!" Lauren perked up. And still smiling as well

The bell rang excusing us from class to go home.

I can out of chemistry and Lauren came out of algebra 2.

She had my penguin with her. How'd she get it?

"Ready to go!?"

"Umm sure. Why do you have my penny?"

"Oh I got it out of your locker!" That little turd.

Lauren was practically sprinting home.

"Chika why are you so energetic!? I really don't want to go home! We could go get ice-"

She interrupted me "no were going home!"

"Bitch!" We heard someone yell, faintly in the distant. All of a sudden a sharp tingle came across my arm. And 4 guy running past. Kip and his friends. And then they soon disappeared.

"Oh my god are you okay!?" Lauren practically screamed.

Thank goodness we are almost In front of my house.

Lauren pushed the door open and pulled me in.

"MARCUS SHE'S DYING!"

"What!!!?" I geared Casper and Marcus both reply,running over to me.

I looked up from my bleeding arm to see Casper and his hurt eyes.

"You said you wouldn't." He mumbled. He's like on the movie tangled. Rapunzel always mumbled.

"Casper I didn't. Kip did." His head shot up, anger in his eyes.

I heard Marcus whisper in his ear "Casper....."

I was led up to my bathroom and Marcus helped bandage my bleeding wound tight.

We went back downstairs and sat on the couch.

Casper nudged Marcus and they nodded at lauren, who was now sitting by me.

"So..." Casper spoke

"You know your birthdays next week right?" I nodded my head.

Marcus added, "well,"
