"it is him I know it!"

"okay okay" We rushed to the checkout, casually glancing behind us to make sure Chris wasn't behind us. He kept pacing up and down that same isle then glanced over to our checkout lane.

"he's coming!" Katie frantically whispered to me while the bagger put the food in our cart. Just as the young teenager put the last bag in the cart, we sped out. Seeing that Chris just got into the line we were in.

"what is he doing here Calm?"

"I don't know."

"is he trying to find me?"

"Katie, I don't know"

"what if he-"

"Katie I do not know!!" I shouted a little too loud. It shut her up though.

"I'm sorry for yelling at you. But I honestly don't know how and why he is here. I'm sure he has something to do with you, but we'll make sure he doesn't get to you. Okay?"

"okay." She replied, twirling her hair in her fingers.

I hope he isn't looking for her. And that he won't find her.

"Katie. Will you tell me you're whole past with Chris when we get back? Just so I can be prepared about him" she hesitated and took good thought into my question. She soon nodded.

"Cal!! Katie!! Please come down! we have a guest!"

We both took the stairs and I would slow down repeatedly.

"Cal...." she whined as I leaned back on her. I chuckled and jumped the last 4 steps. We walk into our dining room to see a surprise guest. Katie let out a gasp and backed 2 steps into my chest. Shit.
