Chapter 5
The mission.

•Naruto's pov•
Team Naruto mentally grumbles while standing in the hokage's office looking at the damn cat.They have been doing D-rank mision for a while now and catching that stupid Tora cat was the last straw atleast for Naruto."Next mission for team 7.Picking herbs,babysitting fo-"The hokage said only to be rudely interrupted by Naruto.
"Nope,no,absolutely not.I had enough." Naruto yelled crossing his arms."Lord hokage,we are ninjas of the leaf supposed to protect or village.But I doubt that us doing this useless D-rank mission is going to help us protect our village once it's under an attack. "Naruto continued not paying attention to the reactions of the people in the room who were most of all shocked that the knuckle head was talking to the hokage respectfully.The hokage looks in thought for a moment before he gives in."Very well,I guess your right."That answer makes everyone's gape while Kakashi looks surprised for a second before it disappears completely. Leaving Iruka sensei talking to the hokage trying to talk Naruto out of it." Iruka,I have made my decision already.Call in the bridge builder."Was the hokage response to Iruka's pleading.Naruto fake cheers leading to Sakura hitting him over the head."Baka,shut up!"After a minute a drunk man staggers into the room making Naruto's eyes twitch. They were supposed to protect this drunk idiot."Are these people supposed to protect me?What about the blond squirt is he even a ninja."
was the first thing the drunk man commented when he entered.

What,did he say!I swear if I wasn't undercover right now I would teach him a lesson.

What did you say.C'mon kurama I thought we were friends back me up.

Mentally glaring daggers at Kurama he keeps his mask up and try's to attack the man.Only to be stopped by Kakashi grabbing him by his collar.
"Let me at it him!" he yells."Naruto we can't attack the client."Kakashi lectures wich I just zone out.I snap out of my trance when Kakashi tells is we are dismissed and we can go home.Not having to be told twice I quickly run out of the office.I enter my run down apartment and start packing while humming a random tune under my breath.I put some pocketknife's in my sleeve.I grab some seals.I have a feeling they will come in handy.

Kurama,where did the geezer say he came from.

The land of waves.Now let me sleep.

Well,geez.Thank you,you lazy fox.

*Snoring.*

He fell asleep on the conversation again.Great.I sigh.Grabbing my bag I start making my way to the gates.Supringsly im the last one to arrive."Baka,your late!"Sakura yells the moment she sees me.My eyes twitch. "Im not late,your just early." I answer cheerfully.Sakura immediately prepared her fist to bash it into my head.But since I saw it coming I quickly dodged it.
"Saukra,Naruto." Kakashi said in a lazy tone but you could hear the warning in his voice.Sakura huffed annoyed and crossed her arms."Oi,can I really trust my life with those ninja brats."The drunk man said.I glared at him.He's so lucky im undercover right now."Hey,drunken man.Watch what you say!"I yell acting as the idiot I am."You'll be fine.Im a jonin."Kakashi says ignoring me.Tazuna looks skeptical but nods anyway before taking a swig of his alcohol.

With that said we step out of the gates.Ready to start our journey.Only after a few minutes of walking i sense two people following us.From their chakra their mid chunin.I immediately tense up.I see Kakashi eyeing me from the corner of my eyes.I try to relax my body but I can't.Me and Itachi always were the instant kill/attack type we like to finish stuff as fast as possible while Kakashi was the im too lazy to attack/kill so I'll just wait for you to that.He's more the defense type. That probably explains why he isn't doing anything.Sighing I continue walking abnormally quiet for my character. Sasuke notices it and walks next to me.I glance at him."Do you need anything."I ask loudly back in character. "Hn." You are really quiet,dobe.

"I thought you wanted me to shut up."

"Hn."Yes,but your not being annoying and that's just suspicious.

" I just want to see as much as possible because this is my first time that I left the village,Believe it!"
Okay that last one was a total lie.

"Hn."Dobe.

I fake growl."Teme!" I yell back pretending to be pissed off.We glare at eachother.But were interrupted by a fist coming in contact with my head."Naruto, stop glaring at Sasuke-kun."Sakura yells.Kakashi sighed."Sakura-chan." I whine while rubbing my head.Pretending that that pathetic punch hurt.Who does this girl think she is abusing people like that.She ignores me.After a few minutes of silence Sakura decides to break the silence again with her annoying voice Kakashi-sensei are there ninjas in the land of waves?"
Kakashi start explaining about the land of waves.I see Tazuna look guilty when I hear Kakashi say that we aren't gonna fight any ninja.That's suspicious.It seems Kakashi forgot to do his research I know the land of waves is an poor land but why are there ninja after him. I really regret not continue researching on the land of a waves in the beginning.It could've come in handy on this mission.Im snapped out of my thought when I hear Kakashi say."You just doubted Lord hokage didn't you."I see Sakura and Sasuke pale in the cornor of my eyes.Without me wanting it I answer."We are ninjas were not supposed to take anything lightly or underestimate our opponents.If we make that mistake in the shinobi world it could lead to death."I see Kakashi's one eye widen while Sakura and Sasuke look at me in surprise. "That's nicely said, Naruto." Kakashi says once he recovers."Thanks!I read it in a book once!"I say excitedly. Kakashi nods before he starts reading his book.I glance up and stare at the sky I almost freeze when I sense a familiar chakra.Itachi.

Okay,people.I know im random but it isn't very fun if you know everything that happens already.It's always fun having twist.
