I mentally stop my conversation with Kurama and get back to the present as I shift uncomfortable at the Uchiha table.The atmosphere tense.I smile at Sasuke who looked confused around the table not knowing what is going on.Doing that I try to unsuccessfully ignore Fugaku's judging stare.Even Shisui was silent. Itachi silently ate his meal.Mikoto tried to make a light conversation but it seemed Fugaku didn't like that."So Jack."Fugaku speaks up saying my name full of distaste. I look at him waiting for what is too come."What business do you have with my sons?"

Yeah, Kurama is right. I should've never dropped that book.

-A few hours earlier-

·Naruto's pov·
I stealthily walk around the village reading a book going unnoticed by the villagers. Instead of my usual anbu clothing I was wearing something casual. My red hair was hidden by my bandana the only thing that was really on display was my face and red eyes.I dodged the crowd relying on sensing their chakra.

Im bored
I want to do a mission.
I complain to Kurama.

Well I don't think that's going to happen any time soon.It seems the old man thinks your  exhausting yourself.
He retorts back with sass.

I frown inwardly at his response. How rude.

What's with the attitude. Is it that time of the month Kurama.

I tease.Immediately a growl escapes Kurama as he opens his mouth to retort something back only that I have to block him out as someone slams into me.I glance down alert.My gaze immediately connects with innocent onyx eyes who are staring right back at me.Those eyes belonged to a little boy with  black hair shaped in a butt of a.....duck? It also seemed he was the same age as me without the henge.We both blinked at eachother.Once, twice.

Do I know him?He looks familiar?

I mentally ponder as I study the boy.Soon a boys snaps me out of my staring. "Sasuke!"A energetic voice called out making me flinch at it's loudness.I turned around my gaze connecting with some other onyx eyes from who belonged to the energetic boy.He also had dark hair.He grabbed the little boy's arm who's name sounded awfully familiar out of my grasp.During that I finally noticed the Uchiha symbols on both of their t-shirts.I finally put the pieces together as to why the little boy looked so familiar.Don't tell me...."Shisui,your being loud."a familiar voice rings out.Itachi.

Immediately my eyes shoot to  him."I was just alerting Sasuke that we were here.Since after all we were playing hide and seek."The energetic boy named Shisui said.Itachi only rolled his eyes as Sasuke immediately jumped out of Shisui's grip and to his older brother."You mean you lost him."Itachi said sternly correcting his cousin.His gaze hard but softend once he glanced at his little brother."Don't play hide and seek with Shisui anymore.Okay Sasuke?It seems he sucks at it."he says bluntly ignoring Shisui who was pouting and having a depressed aura surrounding him.As much as I wanted to talk to Itachi it seemed that would have to wait for another time.Seeing that nobody noticed me yet I turn around walking away from the trio.Just as I was about to blend with the crowd Sasuke's voice stopped me."Wait Mr.Ninja,you forgot your book!"I raised an eyebrow at the name but also as I finally noticed that the book I was reading earlier wasn't in my hands anymore. At that Kurama let out a snort.
