"25 year old Los Angeles resident Meredith Blackwood went missing yesterday after she reportedly took a late night walk in a local forest on Springfield Avenue. Police are scanning the area and although they have found a charm bracelet with Meredith's name on it, there have been no further develop-Oh, this just in, police have discovered the body of Meredith Blackwood in a shallow grave inside of the forest. There have not been any causes of death released and I think it's safe to say that-"

Juliana turned off the television. These missing person stories were always so depressing, and Juliana didn't want to think about all the problems in the world when she had her own problems to deal with.

Juliana hopped off her couch and walked to the refrigerator to grab a soda. She opened the fridge, grabbed a soda and shut the door. Juliana tipped her head up to drink from her soda, and instead saw a man staring at her up on the ceiling.

The man jumped down and tackled Juliana, but she was able to get a look at her attacker. He was tall, probably 7 feet tall, and the last thing Juliana saw was a sinister grin creep across his face.

Thank you for reading! Also, I published another story (Small Things) which is really short, and not quite as popular as this one, but it would really mean a lot to me if you guys would read that 😊. My next story will be about depression, mental health, and the prejudice in our society today. So, if that's something you're interested in, it should be up soon! Thanks again for reading!
