Flipped Around (Discontinuous)

Chapter Six | Octavia Chase

My phone rung as I walked into my bathroom to wash my hair. I groaned and walked towards my desk were I had left it.

The bright screen lit up multiple times and the name Elissa popped up. I slid the answer button across and put the phone to my ear.

" Elissa what's up " I said quickly. Someone sniffed in the other end and my eyes filled with worry.

" Eli what the fucks wrong. Have you been crying or am I being paranoid here. Your scaring me " I said concern laced in my voice.

" Octavia he's here and he's drunk. Caleb told me to go to my room and I did. I was crying and then they were shouting and then there was a crash and now everything has gone quiet. " She said quickly into her phone.

" Elissa stay in your room I'm coming to get you. Do not leave because if you do and Caleb is hurt you will freak out " I grabbed my keys of the side and pulled on some shoes.

I ran down the stairs and slammed the door behind me. Cold wind hit my skin as I dashed madly down the street.

" Hold on Elissa I'm coming " I said ending the call so I could run faster. Suddenly headlight lights hit my in the eyes and I squinted to see.

" Octavia where you running to " I knew that voice all to well. Damon Russel the one guy I hated the most.

" Damon take me to Elissa's now it's important " I yank open the passenger door and looked at the blonde air head.

" Move it Abbie before I make you move with my fist " I said in a sickly sweet but deadly voice.

She whined to Damon who told her to get out because Eli was more important that getting laid. She quickly scurried out the car.

" Your pay for this Chase " she said. I flipped her of before we sped down the road.

A few minutes later we pulled up and before we even parked I flew out the car and ran to the door.

Using the key that Elissa and Caleb gave me I unlocked the door. The scene I found was the one I was dreading.

Caleb was slumped against the kitchen counter and Elissa's dad was standing next to him with a beer to his lips.

He stared at me with wide eyes as I rushed towards them. I dropped down next to Caleb and pulled him up.

Damon came rushing through the door and looked at us. He looked straight at Elissa's dad and then ran to help me lift Caleb.

" Octavia how nice it is to see my girl. Who you been sweet heart " He said stalking towards me. Damon was helping Caleb up to Elissa's room.

" I'm not your girl David your fucking sick you know. " I spat at him and turned on my heel to get the phone to call the cops.

" Not so fast little Octavia " He grabbed my shoulders and pulled me into his chest. I wiggled to escape his grasp on me.

I stepped on his foot and he jolted back releasing me and I ran towards the stairs.

" You'll pay for that you bitch ".
