Why do people hurt you
All they do is take you down
They hurt you so bad
You hurt yourself
You hate yourself for who you are
What you look like
Or what others think of you
You think of yourself as worthless
And no one can help you change what you think
All people do is lie to you
They say those obvious lies to your face
this is why,
why you're always wearing a mask
So no one can see the tears roll down your cheeks
So no one can see how you really feel
You bottle up all your emotions,
Till you can't any more, but still
You don't tell anyone because they can't do anything
All they will do is send you away
So they don't have to deal with your pain.
