I wouldn't call it dating. We were too young for all that hassle. But I would say we had a romantic relationship where we both mutually had feelings of affection towards eachother. The next few months were great. We held hands a lot and had long hugs. We couldn't do any more at the age of 13 Our relationship was on and off for about 2 to 5 years. She said I was the only one she ever thought of this in this way. But at the end of my high school life she told me the truth of what was really going on. Here goes.
I just turned 15 now. Her and I drifted apart slowly, I was forced to break it off with her as we had important exams approaching that put us on a path to a good life. This year was my last year in high school. She said she liked me again and we were very close. We hung around a lot. Then one day she just stopped. She didn't tell me this of course I found out myself. By accident of course.
I was walking down the corridor to find her making out with another student. I accidentally hit the door and she saw me. I thought she was going to chase after me like in the movies but she never did.
It's funny how trust can be hard to obtain but ever so easy to lose.
