Age: 6

Fiona's first day at her new school, she had to move up 3 grades, which means she's going to be the littlest one in her class, but she's probably also going to be the smartest. Her parents tried getting her to move one more grade level up, but the school refused, saying that, "moving Fiona two grade levels is almost too much for us." Which both Mr. and Mrs. Lester agree that that is beyond ignorant.

Fiona is very nervous going into her new classroom, all of the kids are bigger and older than her; intimidating.

She steps into the classroom in her brand new red dress that she bought for this occasion. And fiddling with it, she finds a seat at a small round table at the back of the room right next to a boy with curly, chestnut hair.

"Hello. My name is Fiona Lester, I am six years old, it is nice to meet you," Fiona puts out her hand for the boy to shake.

To her surprise, he does whilst saying, "Hi, Fiona, I'm Sam Howell. I am eight years old and I really like playing with toy dogs." He gives her a big toothless smile while he finishes his sentence.

Fiona can tell that she's going to like this kid.

"I am also a young one for this class, most kids in here are nine, while I'm only eight. But I guess eight isn't as young as six." Sam surely knows how to talk.

"Yes, six is very young. Especially for year 4. I was told I am too smart to be in year 1, so they bumped me up three grades. So now I am here, in year 4. In a whole different school."

"You'll do fine here. I won't let anyone hurt you. Because you're too tiny to be hurt." Sam said, and goes back to what he was doing before Fiona came in. Which was coloring a unicorn.

I have a feeling that the length of the chapters will vary, although the majority of them will be pretty short. So I'll try to update regularly :)

When Fiona gets older, (like nine or ten) I'm going to probably make the chapters Fiona's POV/Sam's POV, something like that.
