Chapter 38

A/N: "In this chapter, Gray and Natsu have different point of views on what is happening to them at the park. So I decided that Natsu's POV is on ITALIC LETTERS while Gray's POV is on BOLD LETTERS. But the story will be told in a Third Person's POV."

Third Person's POV

Gray was the first one to arrive at the park. It was filled with children playing, parent who are watching them, some walking or playing with their pets and plenty other more doing with their activities. It wasn't that odd for him considering it was Saturday.

As he was looking around, he suddenly saw Natsu by the gates. The pink haired teen quickly run to Gray's direction the moment he saw him.

"Sorry I'm late.." Natsu heavily panted and placed his hands on his knees as he tried to catch his breath.

"Its okay.. I'm actually a bit early." Gray awkwardly went to Natsu's side and started rubbing his back to help him ease his breathing.

"Man! I really hate running!" Natsu exclaimed when he finally recovered. Natsu gave Gray a huge grin that has caused the ravennette to blush.

He's here! He's finally here! Don't blow this Gray!!

I did it! I finally did it! Don't mess this up Natsu!

"So what do you think??" Natsu asked, too oblivious enough to noticed Gray's blush.

"W-what?" Gray snapped back. His blush slowly fading as he mentally sigh in relief that Natsu didn't notice them.

"Magnolia's park, idiot! You told me you haven't been here since the day you moved here." Natsu stated then the two of them started walking around.

"Well its a bit bigger than the one back at my hometown." Gray answered as he tried to avoid eye contact.

Shit! I'm already blowing this!

"Oh..." Natsu gaze his feet as they continued on walking.

Shit! I don't know what to say anymore!

Moments passed by in an awkward silence as the two continued walking around the park.

Think Gray! You're the one who invited him here, you should atleast entertain him.

"So.. uhm.. I really don't know anything about this park.."
Gray mentally facepalmed

Shit! why did I say that!

Natsu suddenly stop his tracks and looked at Gray. "That's okay, you're just new here."

Ugh! Why did I have to say that?! You're such an idiot!!

"That's why I'm here dumbass!" Natsu lightly chuckled at him.

He's such an idiot!

I am such an idiot!

Gray suddenly blushed but this time Natsu saw it. The fire dragon slayer bursted laughing.

"W-what's s-so f-f-funny?!" Gray stutter as his blush went out of control.

He's really adorable when he's laughing. Its like he worries nothing in this world.

A small smile formed on his lips as he watched Natsu laughing. His blush slowly fading along with Natsu's laughter.

It took a few moments for Natsu to answer him cause he was recovering himself from laughing.

"Its just.. for an ice mage like you.. I never knew you can loose your cool image..." Natsu panted then he wipe a tear on the corner of his eye. "Its my first time seeing you blush.."
