"Gale...gale" echoed in air. "The time has come my child, you are the fate of all humans, now arise from your unconscious slumber". The echoing vanished.
A dazed and confused Gale wakes up into a dark abyss within the temple walls. He walked for what seemed like hours into the dreadful unknown seeking a light in the darkness. Eventually a short rumble occurred and the room itself warped the realities of space and time. The room bending to its will as if it was a living entity brought upon Gale a vast land only dreamt of in fantasies.
The sky a light purple filled with stars in a never ending dusk. The soil, rich and fertile, supplying the life force of the colourful trees and sparkling waters course its way throughout the lands.
"No...that's impossible. How can these even exist." A shocked Gale said baffled by the sight he is witnessing. " This temple has a variety of tricks up its sleeve, Gale." Gale heard as he proceeded to walk deeper into forest. "It's all an illusion, a mirage you can say." Gale heard the voice once more. "As for me however. I am one step closer to my goals. And that goal is...". "Its all in my head, Its all in MY head" Gale repeated to himself. "...to get my revenge!".
Gale reacting on instinct as he heard the rustle of some bushes pulled out his talon saber with a ruby encrusted hilt once belonging to his father and was given to him as a parting gift, it was Gale's last memory of his father and his most sacred one.
A figure robed in red and face hidden away in the shadows of his cloak dashed towards Gale at a force beyond human comprehension. The two swords clashed with fierce power and a determination to win. "Oh you blocked my first strike so easily, now this is the kind of challenge I've been looking for. Give me all you got Gale cause this fight will be your last! TAKE THIS!". The mysterious man fired off a volley of slices, stabs and punches at a speed beyond sight.
Gale expertly deflected every mind shocking blow dealt to him " Heh not bad I've been itching for a fight all day. Now you will see why I am the son of Giaus Everthorn. Behold my TRUE power!". Gale shouted a paralyzing shriek and charged full force into his attacker. "DIE!" Gale stabbed straight through his attacker which propelled him into a nearby cliff wall.
"Arghh!" The final words of the cloaked firgure or so Gale thought. "No one messes with me." Gale said as we walked towards the body. Gale had retrieved his sword from the body to only realize that his sword had only pierced his cloak but it was too late. " You fool how could you do this to me!" The figure yelled to Gale. "How could you not recognize me!" He said has he took off his cloak only for Gale to see that it was not just any guy or even a guy at all, it was his lifelong friend since he was young Saria. "Sar-sari your alive." Gale said as he mercilessly hugged her. "Hehe its good to see you to Galey. How about we catch up on our way out of here, I do know the exit after all." Saria said as she offered Gale a hand up. "Just like old times."
