"Hurry up Galey, the exit isn't getting any closer." Saria shouted almost twenty metres away. "I-Im coming." Gale said nearly out of breath. "Then hur-" Saria said until her voice faded into the air. Gale give a slight smirk.
This girl is Saria, she's been my best friend since we were five years old. We used to be with each other every second of the day. No one could ever separate us or so I had thought. Back while the great darkness was invoking the land and seas many lives were lost but most noticeably for me was Saria's parents I had saw a huge fire engulf their cottage. I screamed for Saria to hear me but I had heard nothing. I had thought she got burnt. I had thought that she died. Back then she was just a little smaller than me and always wore a dark red leather shirt and a rosy dress. But seeing her now she's grown a lot. She is still shorter than but something I had never noticed while we were kids were the size of her breasts that grew so much and her fashion style seems to be different, a dark red cloak, a tight midnight shadow black pants and a rosy top.
More than three hours later Gale had met up with Saria in the temple's unknown. "Hey Saria I've been wanting to know. But how did you survive that fire?". "I wasn't at the cottage during the fire." Saria said sadly."Wait so if you weren't in the fire then where were you all these years?" Gale asked with a confused look. "Its a long story but seeing that we still go a long way to go why not." Saria said nervously,"During that night I was walking near the outskirts of the village enjoying the midnight stars and hellfire rains upon the mountains but I had heard a loud voice screaming my name to the direction of my home. I ran toward it to see my home, my family, everything I had, gone. I ran deep into the mystic forests to the east where I met a man who gave me shelter, food, water, a new life. He thought me many survival tactics as well as working in the shadows. I learnt the art of thievery and deception but he made me swear that I only use what he thought me for good or when my life is on its last leg. However during all that time I felt as if there was something missing. Ever since I left my old life I've been feeling a huge hole in my chest where my ice cold heart once was. Almost one year ago I had realized what was missing. And that is you. I had left my new home on a journey to find you. Before I left my master gave me his trusted artifact. A sapphire forged dagger enhanced with a flame point rune. I had been searching for you for months now. I was only able to find you when I saw Bishop and asked him. And now we are together again. Friends forever".
"Wow Saria really?" Gale said while he blushed only slightly. "Nope this was just a coincidence." Saria said while laughing, "of course its true, we are great friends aren't we? Don't answer cause we are."."heh you were always the jokester."
Suddenly a bright light emerged. "There it is Galey the exit!" A glad Saria said as she hugged Gale and gave him a little kiss on the cheek,"She you on the other side.". Saria ran off to the blinding light and Gale smirking at the sight of a happy Saria just like how they were as kids. "Wait up Saria, you wouldn't want to lose me again!" Gale said as he began to stroll on into the outside world and his journey shall finally begin.
