He was kissing me. Again!

It surprised me, yet again, that with his stony expression, his lips managed to stay soft. Oh, so soft. I couldn't bring myself to push him away and to give him a piece of mind.

Only the thing on your mind is kissing him back, which you are.

Blast that voice in my head! My thoughts were abruptly stopped when I felt strong arms circle around my waist. Mr. Ambrose was kissing me hard, and I was actually allowing him and kissing him back just as hard. This was absurd and hypocritical of me! I was a feminist! A proud one! I was part of the group who believed that women did not need men!

Are you sure of that?

Yes!

Mr. Ambrose's lips moved again, and my thoughts were put to a halt. Again. My hands roamed against his hard arms, while one of his hands caressed my cheek. If anyone would enter this room, this might be a spectacular news that Mr. Ambrose would have a bloody tantrum. But, I pushed that out of my mind as my hand stayed at his very muscular chest, and the other one reached his face. It was smooth as granite but it was also soft. In fact, his whole face is soft.

Huh, who would've thought.

I heard a sound of some kind of animal that sounded like mating. Only, I took what I said back, after realizing it was me who has created such a sound! Mr. Ambrose was making me love this kiss. And it felt like it was long overdue. Our lips collided in a duel, and we both didn't have it in us to back down –if it wasn't for air.

After realizing that we were indeed human beings, and that we needed air, we pulled apart. But, no, Mr. Ambrose didn't let me get far. We were still close –our foreheads touching and our breaths in a mix. My heart was still beating the heck out of me, and I could feel that his was too. It brought me this feeling of joy and satisfaction that it wasn't only I that felt this way –it would save me a lot of humiliation if it did.

"So beautiful." He whispered, as he caressed my cheek, forcing me to look up at him. I felt my cheeks grow red, and he actually smiled! The last time I saw him smile was when he was faking it, and he was giving off days off and free biscuits! This was a very promising day, indeed.

What surprised me the most, was when our lips met again, and I just wanted to stay right there, in his arms and just kissing him.

Stop it, Lily! You're supposed to stop him!

But, it was oh so good. He made me feel like a Goddess and he was making me feel like I was in a heaven filled with solid chocolates. He was better than solid chocolate, of course. He was much, much better.

Stop him, Lily!

Much to my disappointment, we both pulled apart because a certain somebody had opened the door, but that somebody, seeing our position, immediately closed the door, as we both straightened. Karim was looking at us strangely, not believing what had he just witnessed and was opening and closing his mouth without any sound coming out. Mr. Ambrose cleared his throat and, asked in his icy state again; "Well?"

Karim cleared his throat to, seeming since it ran dry with all the mouth closing and opening. That reminded me of a very precious memory that happened not so long ago. Stop it, Lily! Focus! I felt the heat run to my cheeks again, so I looked away and bit my lip, trying so hard not to squeal.

"We found one of the enemy's spy."

Well, that was enough for both of us to clear our heads out of everything that just happened.

Karim guided us to the basement, while the workers continued working but made a way for my beloved employer. Stop it Lily with the romance! I forced myself to focus on the way, since those two huge men have a way of walking that made it look like they were running, as I tried my best to keep up with them. I stared at Mr. Ambrose's back, thinking about all the things that have been said and done in his office. He said he admires me, yet he has his odd way of showing it –he was acting like he didn't know me.

He abruptly stopped, and I bumped into him. He didn't even turn around, but he looked ahead.

"He is the spy, Sahib." I was getting excited to who this spy Lord Dalgleish has hired. I moved to the side of Mr. Ambrose and got a glimpse of the man that was tied to a chair and there was a bucket hanging in his head. Much similar to what Mr. Ambrose's dead previous secretary was when he had crossed Mr. Ambrose.

But, when he rose his head to look at us, both our eyes were stuck in each other. I felt my jaw drop and I was beyond shocked.

"Miss Lily Linton? Is that you? Why in God's name are you here and on men's clothing?" he croaked –he must have been badly wounded.

I could only say two words..

"Captain Carter?!"

x.

I know it's short but this is what I've managed so far, since we're on a holiday today, meaning no school! Yay! Anyway, Ethereal has been posted up on my second account ineffablythea and you will see it there. I will post another chapter on that story again in a week. So I hope you all will check that out!

This will be the end of Lily's Point of Views, cause we're switching back to Mr. Ambrose's point of view the next chapter.

Soo, this is what I think of Captain Carter, because since when does authors pop up a character that the protagonist like for no special reason? Maybe this is the twist, maybe it isn't, who knows? We can't all be a Sir Rob now can we? But this is my version, and I hope ya'll like it!

Maybe by now you would've guessed who I was talking about when it came to death, so yeah. Say bye bye lovies! jkjk. Anyway, thoughts on this chapter? Comment below and I'll try my best to reply on every single one.

Have a good day everyone!
