Chapter 3:
"Ugh I don't wanna go to school," I groaned as I flipped over on my side. I peeked at my alarm "Damn it! I'm late!" I whisper yelled. I must have overslept. I was up late last night and I didn't hear my alarm.
I flew out of bed and flung open my closet. I snatcheda black Ramones t-shirt and dashed to my black dresser. I grabbed some dark denim shorts and laced up my grey vans. I slung my back pack onto my shoulders, grabbed a brush and darted out the door.
I missed the bus and so I started to sprint. I was running as fast as I could. Sweat was falling over my pale skin. Even though it was March I was sweating.
My school was on the other side of my neighborhood. I kept running. I pulled out my iPhone 4S I proudly bought with my own money. I checked the time, "Shit!" It was 8:54 and I had six minutes.
Soon my school came into view. I bolted through the doors as it was 8:57. I rushed to my first period class. When I got there it was 9:02. Great.
"Ms.Parker? Your late. Now since this has never happened before I will let you off with a warning , now go to your locker and put up your stuff. Then take a seat."
"Thank you Mrs.Martinez" I raced to my locker with a wide smile. I was so happy I have never gotten a tardy in my life. I'm not gonna start now.
I grabbed my algebra notebook and a pencil. I waltzed back to my classroom and the new student was sitting behind me. I didn't even look at them twice. I sat down quietly and started writing my name in pretty letters [ƒɑɪƗɦ pɑʀқɛʀ].
I just finished my name and heard a British voice behind me,
"I like your shirt,"
It was obviously a boy and I ignored him. Any boy that talked to me was either going to make fun of me or piss me off.
"Hey did you hear me?"
I kept on working on my paper.
"Hey. I said. I.Like.Your.Shirt."
"Okay I heard you!" I practically shouted turning around. He was a brunette curly haired boy. He was wearing. Oh no. He was wearing a black Ramones shirt. I can't beleive I was wearing the same shirt as a guy. Ew.
"Is there something you would like to share Ms.Parker?"
"No Mrs.Martinez" I almost stuttered. That would've been embarrassing!
"Okay well then get back to work please," she replied with a smile.
I was on my seventh algebra question when I felt a tap on my shoulder. What the hell does he want now, I thought. I whipped my head around and whispered, "What the hell do you want?"
"I just wanted to borrow a pencil. Goodness I didn't mean to upset you." He said innocently.
I instantly felt guilty for getting mad at him. "Um here you go. Uh s-sorry I didn't know- I just- sorry." I said and turned back around.
I felt someone's breath on the back of my neck "It's okay" he whispered.
Okay this guy was hot but he was giving me the creeps. Soon the bell rang and I shot out of my chair darting out the door hoping he wouldn't try to talk to me after class.
