Chapter 4:
It was already lunch time and I had 3 more periods until I went home. I grabbed an apple and put it on my red plastic lunch tray along with my pizza and blue Gatorade. I saw an empty table and started strolling towards it.
As I passed the "popular" table filled with the jerks and the girls who are the prettiest, skinniest and have the most money.
I took one more step and felt myself falling towards the ground as my pizza flew off my tray and on to one of the populars' purse. As I was expecting to hit the ground I was caught and it was by a boy. Usually I would be on the ground and everyone would be laughing but no one payed attention. I looked up into his emerald eyes. It seemed like forever then I pulled away from his warm slim body.
I put my tray down on the empty table and ran to the bathroom. I didn't know what just happened. Did he actually catch me? I mean why? I was rude to him first period and I yelled at him. I pulled out my phone and checked the time. It was a quarter until next period. I hurried back to where I set down my tray and to my surprise, there he was. The curly haired British boy was sitting down eating next to my tray by himself. I slowly say down next to him. I turned to face him, took a deep breath and asked, "Why do you keep following me?"
He chuckled a little,
"I'm not following you. Your my only friend here."
"Well...." I didn't know what to say. "Find a different friend, like one that's a boy."
"I can't. I find you interesting. And your kinda cute too." He smirked at me with a cheeky grin.
"Okay well.... I have to go the bell is about to ring." I tried to hide the fact that I was blushing.
While I was walking to glad he was the only thing I could think about. No one has ever complimented me like that. Wow. Is my life finally starting to get better?
