When Harry opened his green eyes all he could see was white, he turned to find the walls were the same sickly shade of white as the ceiling had been.

“He's awake,” He didn't recognize this voice and there wasn't a face to place it to.

“Yes it's time to tell him,” This voice Harry did recognize but he didn't know who it was, it wasn't one of the boys, but it was definitely a man. Simon walked out, a nurse with him, clinging onto him in fact. Harry found this strange, why would the nurse be clinging to Simon, what power did Simon have here? In a hospital?

“Harold,” Simon began, and Harry looked up at him confused, trying to sit up he found that his hands and feet were bound to the bed upon which he lay.

“Wha-” Harry began questioningly but Simon cut him off.

“So here's the deal. Louis isn't about to let some beard get between you two, so you'll have to do it. You need to break his heart and use it against him so that way you won't lose your contract.” His voice was the same monotonous droll it had always been, but this time the words he was saying were important to Harry.

“I'm not doing that,” Harry growled, reaching up to hit Simon, as his hand was held back by the restraints Harry realized that was why they were there. To hold him back from hurting Simon.

“If you don't you'll lose your contract, and I thought this was your dream,” Simon smirked, in his mind he knew he had won. He hadn't.

“It was my dream. Louis is my dream and my future now,” Harry spat, fury lacing each word that left his perfect pink lips.

“Well good luck getting someone else to sign a half-gay band,” Simon crowed before finally turning and exiting the room, with the nurse still clutching to his arm. Like he was her only life-line.

Harry's head started to swim as he thought over what had just happened, and his eyes started to close. He fought them hoping to stay conscious just long enough to figure out what Simon meant but it was futile.

“No I chose Louis!” Louis awoke to the worrisome sound of his boyfriend crying out. Louis was laying on Harry's chest which was heaving up and down with his shallow breathing.

“No I won't hurt- I won't hurt- I won't,” Harry repeated not able to finish each time as sobs racked his large bare body. Louis brushed aside the hair from his crying boyfriends face and tried to gently wake him, but Harry wasn't waking.

“Harry! It's okay! Wake up sweetheart! I've got you. You're okay.” Louis whispered quite loudly in fact, into Harry's ear. Harry jolted awake and upon seeing Louis' worried grey-blue eyes pulled him into his arms.

“Oh Louis, oh Louis, oh Louis,” He was almost stuck on repeat, as he sobbed those two words, and they left his wet lips which were covered in tears as they ran down his face. As crunched as Louis was in Harry's arms at the moment he tried to reach his arm out and brush the tears from his boyfriends cheeks.

“It's okay Harry, I'm here. I'm here,” Louis crooned, he was scared as he'd never seen Harry had nightmares like this. Louis became almost frantic as he worried if Harry had these a lot when he was alone, when Louis had left him, not willingly but still.

“You're here, you're here.” Harry whispered, pressing his lips to Louis' hair. He was still in a bit of shock as he remembered the first day or was it night Harry couldn't have known, but his first waking moment in the hospital. Just a week ago. That had been his dream, it wasn't a dream at all, but a memory.

Simon Cowell sat at his desk, going through papers.

“Teen boy band having internal friction?”

“Is there a little more to this friendship?”

“Do we smell some gay?”

These head titles were all over the papers that splattered his desk, and he let out a defeated sigh. He had three options; Allow Larry, which he legally couldn't. Drop the boys, which he didn't want to do seeing as how much money they were making him. Or convince Harry to betray Louis, and this seemed his most reliable option, his only option seeing as the other two weren't really options. A knock on his door brought Simon from his daydreaming and he called out loudly.

“Come in,” The door opened to show the brown haired boy we all know as Liam Payne and he stepped in the room.

“So what exactly are you trying to get me to convince Harry to do?” He spoke, sitting down already decided who he was playing for. Not the boys, but his career. He wasn't a bad person, he thought, he was saving Harry’s and Louis' careers by doing this and they couldn't have been the loves of each others lives so it wasn't going to be that hard; right?

Simon began to explain not only the situation but the severity of it, that all of the boys could lose their contracts if Harry and Louis continued seeing each other. Simon had already figured out that Harry was the weak one, seeing as he already almost ended the relationship, but Louis would do anything to save it. So that's why they needed to target Harry, he would be the easiest to break. The easiest to hurt. As Liam sat in the meeting he wondered about what Niall would think of him if he knew what Liam was doing. Liam was always worried about what Niall thought and it confused him but he knew that no matter his feelings for Niall. He had to look out for all of them, not just stupidly get into a relationship with Niall, even if he did love Nialler, even if that blonde hair was his favourite. Even if those bright blue eyes made Liam feel safe, as these thoughts ran through Liam's mind he shook his head.

“Um is this rule just for them?” He asked stupidly, some part of him hoping it was, so that maybe there was a chance for him. He scoffed in his mind. A chance? Niall wasn't gay; and neither was Liam, right? He didn't know the answer to that, and it scared him.

“Not at all,” Simon snarled breaking Liam out of his thoughts. Liam nodded, making sure that there was no emotion, no disappointment, no sadness showing on his face. His phone beeped and he pulled it out of his pocked as Simon shifted through the papers on his desk trying to find one, that he knew would help Liam with his job.

“Li, when are you coming home? I need a cuddle buddy for this movie. I'm scared.

-Nialler. X” Liam read the text, and without knowing or meaning to a smile crept on to his face and he blushed slightly. Simon seeing this automatically assumed it was Danielle, Liam's girlfriend. Liam typed back a quick reply.

“On my way Ni!” Before looking back up at Simon.

“Good luck, make sure they hate each other enough to stop the rumours, but not enough to ruin the band, yeah?” Simon spoke, his voice calm, but serious. Liam nodded, a lump forming in his throat. Maybe he shouldn't be doing this, he thought, but he knew what he had to do to protect Niall and that was what Simon said, and if that meant hurting his best friends, if it was for Nialler, Liam would do it. As he left the room Liam wondered if he'd do this for Danielle, he tried to tell himself he would but in truth; he wouldn't do anything close to this for her, not her, but for him he would.

A/N: So there's some Niam in this chapter, I didn't plan that it just kinda happened.
