At Jungkook's house, Taehyung was greeted warmly by Jungkook's mother.

"Oh, hi to the both of you!" Mrs. Jeon said with a bright smile.

"Hello, Mrs. Jeon!" Taehyung replied cheerfully.

"Taehyung! It's been a while! It's so nice to see you!" Mrs. Jeon beamed and pulled him into a hug. "Yes, it has been a while since I visited," Taehyung said, returning the embrace.

"So, how are you and Jungkook? Is your relationship still good?" she asked.

"Mom, Tae and I broke up already. It's been weeks. We're just friends now," Jungkook interjected.

"Oh! I'm sorry to hear that, dear. Why didn't you tell me?" Mrs. Jeon asked, looking concerned.

"I didn't want to talk about it, but it's okay. Everything's fine," Jungkook said with a forced smile.

"Did you two have dinner already?" Mrs. Jeon asked, trying to change the subject.

"We haven't yet, Mrs. Jeon. Jungkook mentioned we'd order pizza," Taehyung answered.

"No, no! No pizzas! Jungkook has already eaten three boxes. We're having dinner together; the food is ready," Mrs. Jeon said with a disapproving glance at Jungkook.

"Okay," Taehyung and Jungkook agreed, following her to the dining room, which was a short walk from the entrance of their mansion.

"Lady Suzette! Please call my husband upstairs and let him know dinner is ready," Mrs. Jeon instructed her senior maid. Lady Suzette nodded and went upstairs. A few minutes later, Mr. Jeon joined them for dinner.

"So, Taehyung, how are your parents?" Mr. Jeon asked.

"They're fine, but still busy with work," Taehyung replied.

"Oh, dear! Did they tell you about the m—" Mrs. Jeon began, but was interrupted by Mr. Jeon.

"Maybe Taehyung doesn't know yet. Let his parents tell him," Mr. Jeon said.

"Should I ask Mom and Dad about that?" Taehyung asked.

"Yes, dear," Mrs. Jeon answered.

"What's this about, Mother?" Jungkook asked.

"B-Business matters," Mrs. Jeon stammered.

"Let's just continue with dinner," Mr. Jeon suggested.

They enjoyed a satisfying meal, and after dinner, Taehyung decided to stay a bit longer. Jungkook led him to his suite, where Taehyung collapsed onto the leather couch.

"I'm so full," Taehyung said, rubbing his stomach.

"Yeah, me too," Jungkook agreed.

Jungkook rummaged through his drawer and handed Taehyung a photo album labeled 'Kim Taehyung.'

Taehyung opened it and was taken aback by the baby pictures of himself.

"Seriously, where did you get these photos?" Taehyung asked, astonished.

"I-I saved them before we met," Jungkook stuttered, blushing.

"Ah, so you liked me before we even met, didn't you?" Taehyung teased.

Jungkook nodded, hiding his face in embarrassment.

"Yah, Tae, you're so mean," Jungkook said with a glare.

"Well, I noticed you before too. You're the guy who kept bumping into me and always wore those glasses!" Taehyung teased.

"Yah! I already forgot about those glasses, okay? But you just reminded me," Jungkook retorted.
