29th Heart

Taehyung's P.O.V.

It's been 3 years and I still got nothing. I've been dreaming him since then, wondering if he's doing fine, unlike me. Although I've been promoted as the new CEO of the Kim Enterprises, my life just got boring day by day because of paper works and meetings to attend to, totally no fun than my previous life.

A knock interrupted my thoughts. I mouthed a "come in".

The door suddenly opened, it revealed my worker that I assigned to know where Jungkook is.

"Do you have any news now?" I asked once he's completely inside the room.

"I'm sorry, sir. I can't trace him easily," he apologized while his head hung low.

I nodded sadly in understanding.

"I-It's okay, you may leave," I said to him, and so he did left the room.

As soon as he was out of my office, I got up and walked to the glass door where I could see Seoul city. A tear escaped my eye when I felt like giving up.

But no! I'm Kim Taehyung and I never give up!

I fished the thing from my pocket that I've been keeping the whole time. Then I inserted it in my finger. Yes, it's our wedding ring.

I heaved a sigh.

"How much longer will you hide from me?" I asked out of the blue.

I caressed the ring with my thumb from my other hand, then I kissed it afterwards.

"Hey! Spaced out again huh?" A familiar voice interrupted me again. I quickly wiped my tears .

"Oh, you're here!" I beamed once I saw her.

"Taehyung, you're spacing out again, mind sharing?" She asked.

"Ah no no! I-It's nothing really," I faked a smile.

"'Kay then! Anyways, the kids want dinner later. Don't say no, you'll know what will happen if you reject them," Carol grinned while her arms crossed.

"Hmm, I don't have a choice," I joined in.

"See you later!" She walked to my direction and left a peck on my cheeks.

"Yeah, see 'ya!"

I sighed deeply. I've been living with her since it was our agreement. As time passed by, I've learned how to live peacefully with her. Even though there are times I will remember what she did from the past, she didn't turn into a savage monster but she also learnt how to forgive.

And you might be confused about she said 'kids'?

We didn't get married nor have kids. Hell, no! She was talking about Moonbin, Jihyo, and Namjin.

Moonbin is Taeyeon noona and Baekhyun hyung's son as what you remember, he's already 7 years old. Jihyo is Jungkook's little sister, a 4 year-old young girl. And Namjin, she's Namjoon hyung and Jin hyung's daughter, she's 3 years old. Lucky for them they already had one, unlike me.

Just look how time flies so fast. It's like yesterday we're high-schoolers, then the next day, we already got our little ones. Oh, I mean them, just them.

I wonder if Jungkook also had his own family right now. If he got kids, if he got a lovable husband, if he got the life he always wanted from me. Sadly, I can't give him all of it, 'cause I'm totally the exact opposite.
