-Dylan POV-

It's been a month since me and Jessica started kickin' it. But for the past week, we haven't even talked. We're both busy with different things, but I'm planning to go to her house tonight. It'll be a surprise. It'll be good to see her.

"Hey," Charlie said, sitting down next to me behind the scenes.

"Hey," I replied, tapping my fingers against my phone screen.

"What's up?"

"Nothing. Just waiting for a text." I unlocked my phone again. Still nothing.

"She seems important," Charlie said, pulling out his own phone.

"I guess she is." I shrugged.

"You guess?" He looked at me.

"Yeah. I guess she's important... to me." I sat up straighter in my seat.

"So if she walked in here right now," he continued, smirking, "and started flirting with someone, would you get jealous?"

"What kind of stupid question is that? And I don't get jealous," I said, bluffing.

"Sure," he replied sarcastically, leaning back in his chair.

My phone vibrated, and I snatched it up so fast it almost slipped out of my hand.

A video from Jessica.

I opened it immediately. She was in a bedroom with a little boy and her brother, Cameron.

Video:

"Hey, Dylan! So Cam and I are babysitting Noah for the weekend. Sorry I haven't been able to talk much, but this little fella is one of the reasons why." She laughed.

"Yeah, and come see us!" Cameron yelled from the background, playing some game.

"Hi," Noah said shyly.

"Well, yeah. Call or text me when you get the chance! I'm sorry if I reply late when you do." She smiled, and the video ended.

"At least I know she wasn't making up excuses," I said, feeling relieved.

"Well, she's pretty," Charlie added, leaning back in his seat.

"So you think she's a liar?" he asked.

"What? Shut up," I said, annoyed, already texting Jessica back.

Charlie laughed, and I shook my head at him.

"Are you gonna go see her?"

"I might later today."

"EVERYONE ON SET!" the director yelled.

We both stood up and headed where we were supposed to be.

"Time for action," I said, high-fiving Charlie as we walked onto set.

"Yo," Daniel said, giving me daps while biting into his bagel.

"Hey."

"Dylan," Tyler called, walking over with Tyler H.

"Hey, y'all." I pulled them both into quick hugs.

"COME ON! IN PLACE!" the director shouted again.

I slipped my phone into my pocket and got ready.
