The following morning I woke up to one of Jace's shirts landing on me followed by a bright light and a "Scarlett, get up. Time to go." then the sound of the bedroom door shutting.

I popped up promptly, I'd forgotten we had to get Emily. We were all going to the mall for no other reason then Em wanted to and I wanted a reason to go to hot topic.

Swiftly I changed into the shirt Jace threw at me, went to the bathroom to splash water on my face and brush my teeth with the pink tooth brush; that is mine, I have stayed here enough times. This is my second home.

When we got to the mall we went toward Hot Topic instantly then went to the food court to sit and talk.

When it was time for me to get home Jace drove me and Emily to my house. When all of us got out the car I noticed my boyfriend, Mason, sitting on the porch.

"Oh hey Mason didn't see you there." I said.

Mason got up and walked over to the car where we all were standing.

"Hey Mason." Emily greeted.

"Hey Emily, Hey Jace" Mason spoke calmly looking over at Jace while saying his name.

"Hi Mason." Jace replied. Jace always had this weird negative energy when around Mason that  I've never understood.

"Hey Scar, I'm going to be busy with um.. Family this weekend so I can't hang out Okay?" Mason said.

"Um... I mean I guess. Sure." I answered a bit disappointed. We had plans to got to the movies but he has been doing this a lot lately. He kissed me on the forehead and drove off down the street. What is up?

"Hey Scarlett, What is wrong with Mason? He has been canceling plans left and right lately." Emily asked. "And why show up to cancel plans?"

"I don't know. He says his aunt is back in town and his mom needs help caring for her." I told her.

"Oh well. I guess we can hang at your house and do a sleepover like when we were young. Me, You and Jace. What do ya say?"

"Sure"

We walked into my house, I put my keys on the key rack and walked upstairs to my room with Emily following. A few minutes later Emily and I came downstairs with blankets, candle lights and pillows and laid them out on my living room floor. Looking over at Jace I realized he had this facial expression I knew all to well.

"Em... Em! Jace is doing it again... Emily he-he's thinking." I said.

"Hey, Scarlett!" Jace spoke in an mock offended voice "I was just thinking that we might play a game. I don't know what but we could play a game."

At the moment he said game Emily leaped behind the couch shouting - "He's gonna kill us all! Not another game please I'll die."

I laughed and said "Why don't we try one of those sucky truth or dare apps on my iPad?" They agreed and we sat in a triangle and began to play.

"Emily, truth or dare?"

"Dare." She replied.

"It says until your next turn any time some one says a word with the letter S you must bark like a dog." I said handing her the iPad so she could question Jace.

"Okay Jace. Truth or dare?"

"Truth."

"What is a name you would name one of your children?"

"Jamie. A baby girl named Jamie." Jace answered without hesitation.

We played the game for a little longer then watched a movie. I got up to go get something from my room and as I walked out of my room I saw Emily.

"Hey Scarlett," she said "Do you think something is weird about Mason lately?"

"Not really, he is helping his mom. I love that he cares so deeply for his family." I respond and we walked back down stairs to Jace.

" I respond and we walked back down stairs to Jace
