"Wait hyung, you're gay?!"
Yoongi smiled, trying not to laugh. "You didn't know?" Jimin shook his head, sighing. "Does that mean all of my best friends are gay?!"
"Yep."
"Wait, does that mean I might actually know your crush?! Since I know a lot of guys..." And Yoongi smiled wider, because Jimin is being too cute and the fact that he doesn't know that Yoongi's crush is him makes it even more funny to watch. "Well, I'll find out on Monday!" The latter rolled his eyes. "Sure you will." And they continued to smile and talk to each other, until it was time for Jimin to leave.
Jimin walked to school the next day, feeling confident and happy. During the first period where he had classes together with Taehyung, he started talking cheerfully to his friend again, which surprised Taehyung but he was happy Jimin was back to normal. They chatted like they used to, and Taehyung didn't want to bring up the fact that he and Jungkook were dating, afraid that Jimin would become cold again.
Today, Jimin sat with his friends and Jungkook at lunch, and he saw that Jungkook and Taehyung were sitting a bit closer than usual. Hoseok seemed to notice as well, because he gave Jimin a reassuring pat on the back and continued eating his lunch. Jungkook decided to tell everyone, because the looks they gave Taehyung and him were a bit questioning, and it would be better if it was out in the open.
"By the way, Taehyung and I are dating now." He said brightly when the lunch bell rang and it was time to go back to class. Hoseok instantly looked at Jimin, who was shocked. Yoongi didn't seem to to mind; he shrugged his shoulders, but his gaze slowly turned to Jimin and Hoseok, trying to make sense of their reactions. Taehyung hugged the younger, kissing him on the cheek. They eventually left, going to class.
Jimin didn't know how to react; did the younger really abandon all his feelings for him, and go to Taehyung instead? Was it even possible to get over someone that quickly. His thoughts were nothing but Jungkook for the rest of the school day, dozens of questions in his mind.
After school, he got onto a bus, wanting to just walk around freely. He strolled the busy streets, passing a lot of nondescript buildings, until he arrived at a café. Figuring a cup of coffee wouldn't hurt, he entered the store, ordering a caramel macchiato and sitting down to rest.
A while later, he heard 2 people sit down on the chairs in front of him, and he glanced up from his phone. "Can we sit here?" They were 2 guys, one with brown hair, and the other with swirly white blondish hair that looked like ice cream. Jimin nodded, noticing that they were holding hands as well.
He continued playing on his phone again, occasionally sipping at his macchiato, until one of the guys sitting in front of him asked him another question. "Are you ok? Why do you seem so sad?" Jimin didn't really want to tell the stranger, because well, he was a stranger. But he could tell that the other was actually concerned. Also, the strangers were dating each other, so they wouldn't be disgusted with Jimin if he told them.
So Jimin told them. He told them about Jungkook, not saying his name directly, about Taehyung, and about how he was confused on his feelings. "Why do you have such complicated relationships?" The one with brown hair said, which Jimin learnt his name was Jin. He shrugged his shoulders, turning to the one with ice cream hair to ask for his opinion. "Well, I think that you should either decide whether to be happy or envious. If you were happy, then lose your feelings for the younger one. However, if you were envious, then confess." Jin looked at his boyfriend in surprise, but then nodded, agreeing. "If you really like this person, than you should confess, and wait for their response. If this person still likes your best friend, then you'll have to give up." And the couple nodded together, before smiling at each other.
The 3 talked until it was dark, joking about Namjoon's ability to break everything and Jin's mom personality. They got each other's phone numbers, and followed each other on Instagram. When it was time for them to go, Jin wished him a good luck on his crush, and that if he was feeling sad he could visit them anytime.
Jimin took the bus to his house, his mood now brightened. He entered his house, not surprised that his parents weren't here. His parents were almost never home; always busy on meeting or work.
He watched the TV until it was dark, not really paying attention to whatever was on because his mind was mainly focused on Jungkook. Soon, Jimin started to become tired. He lazily stood up, turning off the screen with the remote and walking to bed.
Once in bed, he took his phone, looking up at Jungkook's contact and pressing 'Message'. He lay on his side, still hesitating on what to write, until his mind decided that Jimin should man up, and as Jimin was about to fall asleep, he managed to type in 4 words and quickly press send.
Jimin: Jungkook, I love you.
