Chapter 23

Jake's Pov
On the weekend, I decided to go to the arcade to play some games so I could get my mind off being defeated by a girl and a guy but I still couldn't get my mind off of them. They let me keep my dojo but what for, they could of taken it, or used it for their own benefit but out of all things, they let me keep it. I played a few arcade games, trying to get the highscore on all of them, and I decided to go to the park to get my mind off of things. Even though it was a week ago, I still couldn't take my mind off of that fight and what was even weirder was that Lisa didn't go to school in all that week. I wondered why I kept thinking about her but I still don't know the answer. As I made my way through the park, I saw Lisa and all her friends playing basketball and having fun. Then I heard that Lisa's team won. Odd, she wins at everything so far. Then I saw two of her friends walk towards my way so I walked down the path liked nothing happened. "Hey Jack." I heard a voice and it belonged to Kaycee. "Sup." I said. "What's happening?" Kaycee asked. "Nothing, just kind of spying on Lisa and her loser friends." I said. "Okay, hey I want you to meet someone." Kaycee said and I followed her to a group of people that included Jason, her friend, and a bunch of other people that I didn't know and I knew most of the school. Then, what looked like the leader, gave me a black and orange brick thing. "Now, you are on our team." The leader said and everyone introduced themselves to me. "Well, this is going to be fun." I said.

Christine's Pov
After the weekend, we were back at school, walking to school with our new friends, Katie and Mike, and once we got to school, the bully decided to start teasing. "Hey Katie, everyone thinks your ugly." the bully said. "Hey Jake, Katie is so pretty that people have no more words to say so they resort to ugly." Lisa said. "Well, your a jerk." Jack said. "Go look in a mirror buddy." Lisa said. "Well, your such a weak girl that people think that you have to get your friends to fight." Jack said. "Remember the time I kicked beat you down in karate, oh wait, that was just a week ago." Lisa said. "Well your so scared that you couldn't come to school for a week." Jack said. "Really now, maybe it was so I could practice so I could beat you down, oh and remember this." Lisa said and took out a silver dagger and hid it but just enough so Jack could see it and not the teacher. "Ugh, you will not here the last of me." Jack said as we kept on walking. "I'm pretty sure we won't." I said. "Wow, thanks." Katie said. "Thats been happening to some of my friends so I have the capability of backing my friends up." Lisa said. "Hey, we should get to class, I can feel people stare at us." I said and we walked to class. We went to our different classes because, well, we're in different classes. Once class started, which happened to be maths, I grabbed a small piece of paper and started doodling anything that came to mind which ended up in me drawing Ceylan. Wait what. Thats not right, ugh, I'll figure that out later.

Ceylan's Pov
I watched as Christine drew on a small piece of paper during maths and I don't blame her, whatever the teacher was talking about was boring. Then I saw Christine thinking about something and she scrunched up the paper and threw it in the bin, which happened to be next to me. I thought that she might be a good drawer so I grabbed to scrunched up ball and saw what she drew, which happened to be me. Wait what. She must have gotten bored and accidentally drew me and only realised that she drew it once she finished. Yeah thats it, she can't have liked me because we annoy the heck out of each other, and more to Lisa. After maths and geography finished, we went to recess and waited for all our friends to arrive. Once they all arrived, we sat down in our usual seats. We chatted about the simple things from homework to shows that we saw on TV. Then I saw a kind of dark look in Chooki's and Gen's eyes but shook it off since that was kind of normal. "Chooki, Gen, can Guren, Joshua, Amanda and I talk to you for a minute?" Lisa asked. "Sure." Chooki said and they went outside. A few minutes later and they came back in looking normal. "Sup people." Ash said as he walked over this way. "Katie, Mike, I need to talk to you." Lisa said and she left with Katie and Mike. "Okay, so she really does hate me." Ash said. "No duh, Mr obvious." Joshua said. "And apparently her family." Ash said. "Keep on going." Gen said. "And most of her friends." Ash said. "There you go idiot of the never world." Toxsa said. "Minecraft." Maddison randomly said. "Okay." I said.

"Oh, that reminds me, I'm going to go online to Minecraft, Maddison, wanna join?" Toxsa asked. "Would be rude not to." Maddison said and they went on Minecraft. "Gamer geeks." Christine said. "Agreed." I said. "Hey, we heard that." Maddison and Toxsa said. "You were supposed to." I said. "You realise they have alot of things in common." Christine said. "Yeah." I said. "Imagine them together." Christine said. "Since when did you become a matchmaker?" I asked. "Ever since Maddison and I met you guys." Christine said. "Wow, so how many people have you matched?" I asked. "Oh, Maddison with Toxsa, Guren with Alexia, Amanda with Termin, Chooki with Yasmin or Lisa, don't know which one and I think I'm starting to pair Beni with either Mike or Gen." Christine whispered to me. "And I also get why you are whispering but what about me?" I asked, whispered to her. "Don't know anyone to pair up with you." Christine whispered to me. "Has anyone realised that you never include me in your conversation." Ash said. "Why would we?" Joshua asked. "I don't know, maybe because you kind of need to." Ash said. "I don't see any reason that we would need to." I said. "See, even Ceylan backs me up." Joshua said. "Yep, because you are a total annoying doofus." I said. "To be honest, all of us are backing Joshua up." Maddison said. "Not me." Beni said. "And yet we still don't know why." Gen said. "Sup, oh, he's still here." Lisa said, glaring at Ash. "See, no one but Beni wants you around." Joshua said. "Hey Lisa, can I tell you a joke?" I asked. "Yeah sure, don't really care." Lisa said. "What did one algebra book say to the other?" I asked. "Don't know." Lisa said. "We got problems." I said and Lisa and the rest of the gang started laughing. "Okay, that is fun." Lisa said. "Wait, Guren, you didn't laugh last time I said that to you." I said. "I was zoning out remember thats why I didn't laugh." Guren said. "Okay, we got class now." Alexia said and the bell rang.
