Chapter 10

Chooki's Pov
After Ash left us, I went to my locker and grabbed my stuff and went to English class. I walked in and saw Ash trying to talk to Lisa again. "Uh, what are you doing in this class?" I asked Ash. "This is my first class, I can't believe you never noticed me." Ash said. "I can't believe your still talking to him, hey Chooki, I need to ask you something about our last homework task." Lisa said and I went up to her knowing that she didn't need to ask me anything but she just wanted me to get away from Ash. "Well you're annoyed from him." I said to Lisa as I sat next to her. "Dude he's trouble and I am not working with him on Quarton, I think I'm just going solo for a bit." Lisa said. "Hey you can't go solo, just ignore him like you do with all those guys." I said. "Okay." Lisa said. "So you are okay with talking to starhead over here than me." Ash said out of nowhere. "I would rather talk to my best friend than an Asparagus who follows me everywhere." Lisa said. "Hey I was trying to be nice." Ash said. "Then how about thinking before you talk." Lisa said. Ash went to his seat in the front and Lisa and I waited for Guren to get to class. "Hey guys, got held up a bit." I heard a voice and I turned to see Guren there. "Hey Guren." Lisa said then she sneezed. "Are you getting sick?" I asked. "No, I don't get sick." Lisa said. "Okay then." I said and class started. After school finished we all just went home. All I did was do my homework and played with Kiro because I had to. The next day I woke up and done my daily routine and went to school. I got to class and waited for Guren and Lisa to show up. Guren then showed up without Lisa. "Hey Guren, where's Lisa?" I asked him. "She got sick last night." Guren said.

"Thought so." I said. "How'd you know?" Guren asked. "She looked like she was sick yesterday." I said. "Oh, hey I need to get some groceries this afternoon so I was wondering if you could just check on Lisa until I got back." Guren said. "Yeah I don't mind." I said. Class then started. School felt longer because Ash wouldn't stop bugging Guren and I about Lisa. After school Guren went to the shops and I went to his house. I knocked on the door of the house and someone opened it. "Hey Chooki, what are you doing here?" Lisa asked me. "Guren told me to check on you while he gets groceries." I said. Lisa went to the couch as I went in. We just chatted for a bit until our corebricks started glowing. "Come on lets go." Lisa said, trying to get up. "No way, your staying here. I'll go, just have some rest." I said. Lisa sat down in annoyance and lied down. "And stay here until Guren or me comes back." I said. She just nodded and I sighed, knowing that she wanted to go. I ran to the portal. We got to Quarton and Shadow and his minions attacked us. "Seriously, we just got here." Tributon yelled. "Who are you?" Valorn asked, pointing to a warrior in dark grey armour. "Nightmare remember." the warrior said. "Oh great, your here." Aspera said. "Yeah I am." Nightmare said and I held back on attacking him instead. We all attacked Shadow but we were getting weaker by the minute. "I'm here." We heard a voice and turned to see Lyparestia standing there. "Why don't you listen to me?" I asked. "Thats how I am." Lyparestia said. We attacked and well, when Evtella attacked Lyparestia, I went in and took the hit. I then went into Titan mode and destroyed most of the corrupted army. Then we went back to earth. "What was up with that?" Termin asked me but I ignored him and ran to Guren's house. I saw Lisa on the couch and she saw me. "I told you to stay here, not to come and try to get yourself killed." I said to her. Then Guren walked in.

Guren's Pov
I walked into my house to see Chooki talking to Lisa. "Why did you go to Quarton?" I asked Lisa. "I had to, you guys would be hopeless without me." Lisa said. "But you were sick." Chooki yelled. "Chooki, don't yell at her, come on, what if you done it, she certainly wouldn't have yelled at you." I said. "Okay, I'm going." Chooki said and left. "Lisa get some sleep and we'll see if you can go to school tomorrow." I said. "Ugh, your acting like a parent." Lisa said. "Just go to sleep." I said and went to my room and done my homework. I then fell asleep doing it. The next morning, I woke up and got ready. I went downstairs and saw Lisa awake. "You feeling better?" I asked. "Yeah." Lisa said. "Then go get ready, we have to go to school." I said and Lisa went to her room. She came down twenty minutes later and we both went to school. When we arrived at school, Chooki came up to us. "Hey starfish, whats up." Lisa said. "Uh, nothing really." Chooki said. Then a guy came and pushed me down. "Why did you do that?" Lisa asked. I thought I could see fire coming out of her as I got up. "Uh oh." Chooki and I said. "Why do you care, your just a girl." The guy said. "Uh, you wouldn't do that." Ash said to the boy and walked away. "You don't know me very well, do you." Lisa said and punched the guy in the nose. Blood came out and a teacher came up to Lisa. "You are on detention." The teacher said. "Okay." Lisa said and the teacher left. "You got detention, thats new." I said. "I don't care if I get expelled." Lisa said. Then we went to class.

When we arrived at class, I saw people giving Lisa a weird stare. "Okay, thats creepy." Lisa said. "Yeah." I said. "Class is starting and I'm trying to stay normal." Chooki said. "Well your meaning of normal is my definition of crazy." Lisa said. "Okay, okay, just do your work." Chooki said and we started class. When it came to lunch, Lisa said that she wanted to sit alone outside so we let her. The gang and I chatted until a certain someone decided to ruin it. "Hey, where's Lisa?" Ash asked, sitting next to Gen. "You know, its like your obsessed with her, ever thought of people need alone time because it doesn't seem to go through your brain." Amanda said. Then I saw a darkness in her eyes. "Amanda, we need to go." I said and Chooki and I grabbed her and dragged her to Lisa. Amanda was trying to break free from our grip and Lisa saw what was happening so we took her to the back of the school and Lisa shot her light beam at her. "Ugh, I feel dizzy, what happened?" Amanda asked. "You going to your dark side, me shooting my light beam, you know, the usual stuff." Lisa said and the bell rang so we went to class.
