Chapter 25

Chooki's Pov
After school, Alexia, Maddison, Guren, Gen, Amanda, Joshua, Lisa and I went to the park. Once we got to the park, I saw that Alexia and Maddison were about to attack Lisa, why, well, lets just guess that their evil side is let out. So once everyone noticed, we grabbed Maddison and Alexia, went to a place that had no one around and got Lisa to do the light beam again. Once she did that she blacked out again so I carried her bridal style, because I couldn't get her on my back, and we went to Amanda's house and soon Guren and Joshua joined us with Alexia and Maddison following her. "What happened to Lisa?" Alexia asked. "Oh, she just got hit hard by a ball." Joshua said. "Wow, must have been hard to make her black out." Maddison said. "Lets just say it was more than one ball." Amanda said. "Okay that makes more sense." Alexia said and once we got to Amanda's house, I put Lisa on the couch and Amanda made sure that Lisa was okay. "Maddison, can you keep a secret?" Guren asked. "Yeah, why?" Maddison asked and I knew where this was going. "Because Lisa is Lyparestia and we need you to keep it a secret." Amanda said. "Ouch." I said and dropped to the floor, clutching the side of my stomach. "What happened?" Amanda asked. "I don't know." I said and I got up, but the pain still rested in me. Soon after a few minutes, Lisa started to wake up. "Oh, good your awake, I thought I'd have to try to wake you up." I said. "Well I'm happy that I woke up myself." Lisa said. "Lisa, can I talk to you, alone?" I asked since I knew that Joshua and Amanda would try to interfere. "Yeah." Lisa said and we went into the kitchen.

Once we got into the kitchen, I tried to keep my voice down so that the others wouldn't know what we're talking about. "I think that whenever you shoot your light beam I become affected, we do have a bond but I feel pain everytime you do it." I said. "Oh, I'm sorry but how does it affect you?" Lisa asked. "First when it was only individuals, all I got was a minor headache but now it started to make me feel dizzy ever since you started doing it two at a time." I said. "I think its only because we just have a bond, it should stop but I'll try to do it slower next time." Lisa said. "Thanks, your the best." I said. "Lets get back to the others." Lisa said and we went to the others. "Wow, you guys are like best friends." Alexia said. "Anyways, I have to go because I have homework to do." Lisa said and ran out the house. "I'd better go and make sure nothing breaks in the house." Guren said and ran after Lisa. "My parents will get worried if I stay any longer." Alexia said and left the house. "Lisa left her bag, I'd better go give it to her." Gen said and ran to Guren's house. "I'm hungry, I'm going to see Toxsa at his diner." Maddison said and left to Toxsa's house. "Sorry but I seriously have to take care of Kiro." I said and walked to my house. I saw Kiro in the house waiting for me. "Hey Kiro, so, what do you want to play?" I asked and she pulled a dress out. "Right, princesses." I said. "Chooki, when are you going to let Lisa take care of me too?" Kiro asked. "I don't think she would Kiro." I said. "Okay, now lets play." I said, regretting everything that soon was going to happen.

Guren's Pov
I was at home with Lisa when a knock came on our door. "Hey Guren, Lisa forgot her bag." Gen said as I opened the door. "Thanks." I said and Gen gave me her bag. "Bye, see you tomorrow." Gen said and walked off. I gave Lisa her bag and we started doing our homework. "Guren, we are being summoned." Lisa said. "Then lets go kick some bot." I said and I ran to my portal while Lisa teleported from inside our house. Once I got to Mr White's shop, I saw the gang there, waiting for me. "Excuses for Lisa, what else do you think I could have done to take this long." I said. "No more chit chat, more fighting." Ceylan said and we all transported to Quarton. Once we got there, I saw Lyparestia already the corrupted. "Well, you guys finally got here." Lyparestia said. "Trust me, its harder getting here than getting out." Nightmare said. "Well then, if you would have the honours of fighting with me, I would really use it." Lyparestia said. "Now, looks like Lyparestia is back, now would you..." Shadow started but Nightmare interrupted him. "Chit chat, is that seriously what bad guys can do now. They have no more time to think out their plans so they resort to just talking to us. Maybe thats why its always good that wins and not evil. Talk some more and maybe we'll retreat from boredom. Now, do us a favour and fight us more than talking about fighting us because I think I'm going to fall asleep." Nightmare said. "Good one." Lyparestia said and fought the corrupted harder.

"Jinx, Reaper, double attack now!" Shadow yelled. Then Jinx and Reaper knocked us all back. "Guys, I need a smoke cloud, Aspera, Acrasen, grab Valorn and Venetta and follow me." Lyparestia said and we created a smoke screen. Lyparestia took Aspera, Acrasen, Valorn and Venetta to behind a rock. Then a minute later they came back and fought the corrupted. "Agh!" Lydendor yelled and fell down, clutching his head in pain like something was taking over him. "I have to go." Lyparestia said and took Lydendor back to earth. Once we got Shadow to retreat, we went back to earth. "Hey where's Chooki?" Termin asked. "Probably at his house." I said. "That would make sense." Termin said. "I have to go so Lisa won't get suspicious, uh, Kiro, Amanda will take you home, okay." I said. "Okay." Kiro said and left with Amanda and Joshua while the rest of us went to our houses. I went to my house and saw Lisa trying to help Chooki. "What happened?" I asked. "He can feel the pain I feel everytime I help someone control their evil sides, with or without them or him knowing, he becomes weaker and it also lets him become weak letting his dark side try to take control. This is what happens when we have a strong bond. I can try to reduce the pain but it won't do alot and he still will feel it. I'm trying to keep him safe but the more I try, the more I put him in danger. I feel like I shouldn't have told him about me." Lisa said. "Hey, if you didn't tell Chooki about you, you wouldn't have been able to do so much things." I said. After a while Chooki woke up. "Thank goodness your awake." Lisa said and hugged him. "Ugh, this is getting harder by the minute." Chooki said. "You'd better get home before you get your parents worried." I said. "Right, bye guys." Chooki said and ran to his house. "You care about him don't you." I said. "Yeah, I just can't bear to see him in pain like that cause of me." Lisa said. "Its gonna get better." I said as we went to our rooms to sleep.
