                                                 Twist Five: Emma

"I'll never know how I ended up standing here. Three loonies with me, fighting, hurting each other. I was just a boy, but now? What is this! What is this mess! What am I seeing? Monsters? War? A parent beating his daughter to death? I'm a human! I have just been clearing off bestias in this world for a day. But I'm not weak. Mnemosyne isn't weak. Your daughter is not weak... but you are! Because you crave too much power! Weak people need power because they don't have it! Hurting your daughter won't help anything! It's called FOOLISHNESS! YOU'RE MAKING THINGS WORST! And you were probably just like her with someone dissapointed in you."  -Liam Huebert

                                                   -------------------------------------------------

I woke up with a start, staring at the ceiling and suddenly remembering everything I said to that nutter yesterday. At some point I sort of thought it was cool, but.. remembering it was also extremely embarassing.

I put on my t-shirt and jeans, slipped into my sneakers and got downstairs to eat some bacon.

BACON! MMMM. The only thing that keeps me going in this world, is bacon. <3

After eating and brushing my teeth, I got on my new bike and hurried to school.

Kingsley's hallway was again, packed with filthy students with pollution coming out of their shitty mouths.

And I just hurried to get to Justin just to avoid these stinky sardines.

As I was hurrying to Justin's Math classroom, I bumped into someone short.

First I said "Sorry." Without looking at the person and hurrying away.

But then I turned around and found myself staring at a short girl with porcelain white skin and long dark brown hair. She was picking up her books.

I hesitated to whether I should help her or not, but I just ran to her and started helping her in silence.

When we both stood up and I gave her her books. She didn't even say "Thank You" or any nod or anything. She just took the books and started jogging away from me.

But because of her Porcelain white skin her red blush was very easy to see.

I smirked slightly and got to Justin's classroom. Apparently Professor Gibbs wasn't there yet so I was lucky to get to excuse Justin from his classmates.

"Dude, have you got homework in Spanish? Would you let me copy the answers??" I asked, eyes widened. I forgot to copy the assignment.

"No," he said shortly. "Holy Pope! I don't have any! We're going to DIE!! Professor Silva says if we don't get this homework done we're gonna be in BIG trouble!!" he said.

"Shut up!" I said nervously. Justin's panic made me nervous even more. "We're going to find someone--"

"You can copy on mine." said a voice.

Me and Justin turned around.

"You're still here?!" I demanded to Amarande.

Justin tapped me hard on the back of my neck. "Treat the new students right!" he said loudly and then whispered "Plus she's good-looking--"

Amarande clinged on my arm. "Actually we know each other." She smiled innocently at Justin.

Justin's eyes narrowed.
