Chapter 2: The Beautiful Girl at the corner .

A bird with some worms in its mouth flying in the sky landed in the tree outside the school campus.She sat on her nest which seemed to be of mud and some red soil from the counstruction site a block away.I stared as her little ones were jumping to get hold of the worm.She fed her little ones one by one,one of the little ones started flapping its little wings with no feathers as if she was asking for more.She flew again,flying over by my head to search for more.
-Wasn't she hungry?Had she eaten?How could she?she must be searching all day for the worms for her children-I thought looking at her fly.

Then I thought of my mom,after Dad left she was the only one who took care of me.She was always working,in the day she used to work hard at office and in the nights and weekend working at home.I could hardly remember her having fun...but,how could she ?She had to take care of me.The only one she loved more than her life.

I could see everyone in the school in their happy mood.Everyone seemed happy after seeing their friends after a long time.
"You excited?"I said to Adrian looking at the building.

There was no reply.
"Adrian?"I said turning back.He wasn't there.When I looked, he was already at the Front Entrance surrounded by Girls.
"How was your vacation?"said a girl to his right.
"Did you get a new Girlfriend?"The Girl to his left Interupted.Both of the girls stared at each other until one of them said Angrily
"Can't u see he's talking with me?!"
The air was getting warm out there.I moved closer to where they were.

"You?!,You're wrong he's talking to me alright!"The other answered furiously.I could see Adrians face he was not enjoying it."Um..G..Girls.I think I should get going."He said knowing that it was dangerous to stay longer.Both of the girls looked at him with a scary face.He was terrified,he froze there not being able to say anything.
"Look because of you he's scared!!"One of them screamed.Students were gathering to see what was happening."Me??!!YOU'RE THE ONE WITH A FACE LIKE A WITCH!!!"The other said screaming more furiously.I went closer to him and grabbed his shoulder.
"Lets head to our class.Don't wanna be late for you first day now, would you?"I said pulling him out of the crowd.

"Thanks.I thought I was done for sure."He said taking a big breath,I could hear the girls screaming more angrily.Without wasting any time I said"We better get going."Looking at my watch.
"Lets go."He said ,starting to run.I followed.

We entered the school building running through the corridors to our class.After some lefts, rights and stairs we stopped by a door"Here it is class 10 A."Adrian said reading the plate on the door."I should be."I said opening the door.The Madam was already there taking the attendance.Madam Edna was our homeroom teacher this year.She was tall and was wearing her black coat.Her bright black eyes looked beautiful through her glass.She had a blonde hair.Her pony tail was hanging and bouncing every time she looked up to check the class absentees.The class looked at us.

"Sean Watson and Adrian Ackerman,Am I correct?"She asked looking at us and back to the attendance register.
"Yes Maam"We said standing with our hands at back.
"Late at the first day huh?"She said closing the register.
" We're in trouble,aren't we?"Adrian whispered.
"I guess."I said looking outside the window.Madam Edna stood up and moved closer.
"I'm leaving you two this time.If you're late again you better stay outside.Understood?"She said pointing the pen at us.
"Yes Maam.I won't happen again."we said as we took a deep breath in relief.

"Take your seats."She said.
We went to our seats at the back.At the corner desk the corner desk I noticed a Girl.She must have been new in the class.I went to my seat not stopping to look at her.I stared at her medium sparkling chocolate brown eyes as I sat on my desk.Her beautiful hand removed the black hair in front of her eye and put it behind her ears.She seemed to have a kind of a scar above her right eyebrows.She was looking at the Bird flying outside the window.She had some kind of beautiful aura which I couldn't resist.

I admired at her eyes as it moved left and right like a typewriter, catching up with the speeding bird.Suddenly,her expression changed,it was like she felt something ,her eyes looked all over the class as if she was looking for someone.
Her eyes stopped looking and met mine.

My Heart beat got fast.I was feeling something that I had never felt before.Then...
She smiled.
Her smile was the most beautiful smile I had ever seen my entire life.I was having outbursts of feeling that I had never felt before.
I had just seen her but her face seemed familiar.For a moment ,I am the luckiest guy in this world.

"Sean you alright?"I heard a voice.Her eyes left my contact and she turned to the front.
"SEAN! "The voice said a little louder.Then,I realised it was Adrian,he was continuously poking my back.
"Yea."I answered looking at him.
"You okay?You were completely lost there for a bit.What were you looking at?"He asked looking at the direction of that girl.

"It was nothing.Just lost in thoughts."I lied blocking his view.
"Oh...Never mind.The attendance is over.Listen,Maam is going to say something"He said looking at Maam who stood up from her Desk.
"I would like to introduce a new student in the class."She said smiling.That girl stood up from her seat and walked to the front of the class.
"Whoa!She's pretty"Adrian whispered.

"Yea..."I said looking at her make her way to the front.She stopped beside Maam.
"Hello,My name is Alina Storm.Nice to meet you all."She said while she bowed.
Her voice was the sweetest I had ever heard .It felt like the voice was cleansing my body.
She went back to her seat and the teacher started the lesson.
