"Liam, hurry up! I wanna meet the boys!" I whined loudly at my cousin, Liam Payne, who was currently stopped at a red traffic light. I had managed to convince Liam to let me stay with him and they boys while they had a break from the tour. I have to admit, we're not just cousins, we're best friends too! He's like the brother that God forgot to give me.
"Hey, (Y/N), you know what today is, don't you?" Liam inquired, his eyes forming little slits. Something he does whilst trying to be elusive.
"Sure, it's the 14th of February, which also means that it's Valentine’s Day, Liam, what's all this about?" I said interrogatively. I knew Liam was up to something, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.
"Have you got a 'date' tonight then?" Liam shrugged nonchalantly. I eyed him suspiciously and replied hesitantly.
"No, why, should I?"
"No reason, (Y/N), I was only wondering, but since you don't, you can stay in with me and the boys," he smirked, "ya know, if you wanted to."
"Liam, that's ridiculous! You know I've wanted to meet the boys since forever! I'm not missing spending time with you and the boys, even if I did have an offer, which I don't." I grumbled as I crossed my arms over my chest and slouched in the chair.
"Oh, but you do (Y/N)." Liam whispered.
"Huh? I didn't quite catch that Li."
"Nothing, I didn't say anything, although, we're here!" Liam stopped the car and climes out of it, opening the back to grab my bags.
"Don't bother helping then (Y/N), I'll do it all myself, its fine!" Liam yelled at me, while I was staring at the house, correction, mansion. Whipping my head in Liam's direction I called out,
"Shut up Li! You’re the host and I'm the guest!" Just then the door opened and the rest of the band piled out, running over to me.
"Hey, you must be (Y/N); it's great to finally meet you!" Harry screeched. Yeah, I'd talked to the boys on the phone and I'd been on Skype with Liam and they'd barge in demanding to talk with me. It was actually pretty funny.

After sitting down and having a McDonalds for lunch, they boys showed me around the house and let me settle in my room. As they shut the door to leave me to myself I chuckled - goodness they have so much energy! When I was finally happy everything was where it should be, there was a knock to the wooden door.
"Come in, as long as you’re not naked!" I yelled. Yeah, Liam confirmed the rumours about Harry liking to walk around naked. The handle turned and an amused Liam entered my room.
"Settling in fine, cousin?" Liam grinned and I walked over to him, wrapping him in a bear hug.
"Sure am Lili, thanks for agreeing for me to come and stay."
"Yeah, anyway, we're waiting for you to come down, you done in here?"
"Yes indeed I am, lead the way, dude!" I smiled, knowing that Li hated it when I called him a dude.
"Shut up! Don't call me that." He whined and pouted at me.
"Aw, you love me really!"
"That, I do!" He agreed as we entered to living room.
I sat on the sofa, between Niall and Zayn. Suddenly Liam stood up.
"I forgot to go shopping!" I frowned; it's not like Liam to forget something like that.
"No! Not my precious food! I'm coming too!" Niall yelled from beside me, making me cringe. And with that Liam and Niall left. I noticed that Louis was being abnormally quiet at this point and it struck me as strange. About a minute later, Zayn stood up too, winking at Harry.
"Harry, didn't you say that you needed some hair stuff? Coz I think I'm running low on a couple things, I'm gonna run to the shop, wanna come with?" He smiled a little too innocently for my liking as Harry nodded and stood, making their way towards the door.
"Lou, don't have too much fun without me!" Harry called before slamming the front door. Huh? I'm so confused.
"Oh, did he just say that?" Louis asked.
"Yeah, I think he did, or at least I heard it too! Lou, can I ask you something?" It looks like he's the only sane person in this house other than me, and that's saying something! Lou's bonkers!
"Technically you just did, love," he grinned at me as I mentally face-palmed, "but sure!" He continued.
"Do you know why everyone's acting so strangely?" I questioned the boy as his face fell slightly, did I say something wrong?
"Erm, (Y/N), you know what today is right?" He began, looking at his feet.
"Oh, not you as well Lou! Liam already asked me if I had a date tonight! I didn't expect this behaviour from you!" I exclaimed.
"Well, yeah, the reason everyone left quickly is so that I'd be left alone, with you," he paused, gulping. I wonder where he's going with this. "Because, you see, today is Valentine’s Day, and I kinda have a, c-cr-crush on you, (Y/N)." So that's what Liam meant in the car... Hang on; did he just say he has a crush on me?
"Really, me? Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm sure, but if you don't feel the same, then I totally understand, I mean..." I cut him off.
"Lou, why wouldn't I feel the same?"
"Well, I just, I dunno." He sighed, clearly thinking negative thoughts.
"Lou, I like you!" I shouted, perhaps a little too loudly.
"Yeah, as a friend, I get it." He slouched further into the chair.
"No Lou, I like you! You’re funny, and talented, and adorable, and you have really pretty eyes!" He looked up, slightly shocked before running over to me and lifting me up.
"Yay! Don't worry (Y/N), superman is back again!" I giggled at him and he ran into the kitchen, where a romantic, candlelit dinner for two was set up.
"Care to dine, m'lady?"

After a lovely dinner with Lou, we were watching a movie, cuddling in the sofa when the boys returned.
"Aw, look at the lovebirds!" Liam cooed and I threw my shoe at him.
Little did any of us know that this was the beginning if a long and happy relationship.
