I was getting ready for school, you know, getting dressed, brushing my teeth, shoving everything I could possibly need into a bag that's far too small. Speed walking out of the door, juggling my keys and my bag, my mum called out,
"Josie, you left your dance bag in your room, do you need it today?" I thanked my mother wholeheartedly as she threw it to me across the room. I caught it and dragged it out to my car. Shoving everything in the back seat, I clambered in the drivers seat and hurried towards the school.

It was last lesson, physics, and my eyes scanned the room, finding the clock, 10 more minutes.
Tick tock, tick tock.
RIIIINNNNGGG!
Lunging at my bags, I swiftly grabbed them and exited through the door, heading straight for the gym. I headed to the toilets to change into more suitable attire, and returned feeling refreshed.
I let the music drown out every other sound in this damned school and my body took over. I don't even know what I was doing but I couldn't bring myself to stop. As the song drew to a close, a shuffling was heard in the corner and a hunched figure emerged and started to approach the stage. I instantly recognised him as Marcel Styles, the biggest nerd in school, and probably the sweetest guy I've ever met. Sure, we've talked a few times, been paired together in a couple of classes, and you know what, he's nothing like the guys I hang out with, they're all big-headed, egotistical jocks.
"Hey Mar, what are you doing here?" I questioned casually. Oh yeah. I forgot to mention...I have my own nickname for him.
"I'm...er, yeah I'm fine, J-Josie, I was just, er, watching you dance," he paused to fix his tie and straighten his glasses, a nervous habit of his, "I think your really talented" I smiled to myself.
It then dawned on me; I have a crush on Mar.
