  1|The Roommate

It's my first day as an adult and I just moved into my apartment yesterday. "I need to find a roommate." I get off my couch and go to my computer and place an ad.  After a while I get a couple of emails from weirdos, but one stands out. "Hmm... For the most part all I been getting was girls, but ya know it might be fun having a guy around."

I email the guy back asking him to me at a near by coffee shop tomorrow so that I can enjoy my new bed. I walk to my kitchen and look to see what I have. "Great, now I have to go shopping." I roll my eyes and go change into jeans and a green day t-shirt.

I grab my keys and purse and head out to the near by target. Once I walk in I grab everything that I need that's necessary.

"Excuse me?" A voice says behind me. I turn to see a tall, curly blonde hair, and hazel green eyes. "Yeah?" I saying turning my attention towards him. "Didn't you place an ad online for a roommate?" i look at him and then nod my head, "yeah, but I'm not looking for one. I already have one in mind." he smirks at me revealing dimples. "oh? Well whoever they're is pretty lucky" his smirk turns into a smile and walks away saying, "I'll see ya around?" he walks off not turning back to give me another glance.

I turn around shaking off the weird feeling that guy left and carried on my way to the register. when I walk outside i see the same guy with three other people. "Don't make eye contact with him and you'll be fine." I mutter under my breath. I continue to walk to my car. I get the feeling that I'm being stared at by someone. "Don't turn around and just go home." I mutter once again.

"Hey! Jamie!" A voice shouts from behind me. Regretfully I turn around to see my best friend Maya. I sigh relieved when I see her. "Dang, I'll just leave then." I look at her, "no don't please." I give her a pouty face. She rolls her eyes, "what's wrong?"

I throw my things into my trunk, close it, and lean against the car. "Okay, I put out an ad out for a roommate and I didn't really want a girl for obvious reasons." I take a breath and exhale, "so I found one and I had this weird guy come up to me," I brush my hair out of my face, "like it wasn't crazy weird, but it was weird." Maya only nods her head and beings to think deep, "when do you meet this stranger?" I check my phone so i know what I'm saying is right. "Its tomorrow. Why?" I look at her in curiosity. "Well, I only wanted to drop by and see you. I'll talk at you later." She smiles and walks away from where I stand.

I get into my car and notice that the guy and his groupies are still there. "What the hell? One of them has red hair," I give it a thought, "I wouldn't try it myself, but hey looks good on him I guess." I pull out and make my way home.

When I reach home I throw everything on the table and fall face first onto my bed. I gradually fall asleep not changing my clothes or my taking off my makeup.

I wake up the light hitting my face and my alarm going off. "Uhhh.." I wave my arm trying to find my phone to turn off the annoying noise it's making. I look at the time 7:45am. I lazily get up out of my bed and make my way to the bathroom brushing both my hair and teeth and then removing the makeup I had forgotten to take off.

I here my phone go off.  I pick it up and see no notifications. I roll my eyes and open up my emails and saw I a message from the guy I chose. Hey I have to meet up early I have a meeting that was scheduled. I tried to fix it, but the meeting's important. Hopefully we can talk before then. "Mm...I really shouldn't make him miss it, but that means I have to get ready." I reply back. Is now okay? Right after I sent it I rushed to my closet and grabbed a 'Bring me the Horizon' t-shirt and shorts. Once again my phone goes off. Yeah that's great I'm close by the shop. So I'll just wait for you. I jump and quickly, but neatly but eyeliner and mascara on.
I grab my keys and walk out my door. "I should take the elevator, but that's too slow for my liking." I jog over to the stairway and try to go down quickly and hope I don't trip on anything in my path.

I reach the bottom stair and walk out of my building and find my way to the coffee shop next door. When I walk in I walk up and get myself some nice iced tea and grab a seat and wait for the stranger who will become my new roommate.

About a fifteen minutes go by and i see no signs of the stranger anywhere, but as soon as I stand I see the same guy as before.
Tall, blonde curly hair, and hazel green eyes.
