Chapter 13| New beginnings

JAMIE'S POV

I look at him and I nod. He continues with where he left off. When he moves his hand further down I start to get a weird vibe. I hesitate in my movement, it's like my body doesn't want to continue this. I pull back from Ashton, "I don't think I can." He pulls back from me. "That's okay. we can take it slow."
I shake my head, "I can't do this. I'm- I don't think I'm ready. I think we should take the relationship slow." I said this fixing myself and pull myself off.

He looks away, "it's whatever you need. I'm not gonna rush it if you don't want it."He looks away, "it's whatever you need. I'm not gonna rush it if you don't want it." I smile at him. "Thanks I needed that." I grab anything that's left and I walk to my room. A second later Ashton comes in, "So does this mean I can sleep in the same bed as you?" I look up at him and glare. "Ash, I just said let's take this slow." I chuckle afterwards. I walk towards him and kiss his cheek. "Go now I need to shower." He pouts and kisses my forehead.

I walk over to the bathroom and turn on the water. "So, was that a yes or a no? I never got a answer." I throw a towel at him and take a shower.

Ashton's POV

I walk out of the room and head into the kitchen. I look through the cabinets to find food or t least something to eat. "Why is there no food?!" I say this loud so Jamie can hear me. Without warning I hear her voice, "I'm going out right now." I jump two feet off the ground with my hand on my chest. "Holy fuck, you scared me half to death." she chuckles. "Sorry, I didn't think you'd be so jumpy." I roll my eyes and pull her into my arms. I hold her for awhile. "I can forgive you for now, but next time you owe me." "Okay mister hot shot...how about if i buy stuff from the store?" I smile, kiss the back of her head, and let go. "When you get back I will make my judgement." She laughs at me.

She walks over to where her keys and purse are and she heads out the door.

I head into my room. Once I open the door I hear plopping noises. "Who's in here?" I grab the closest thing to me, "I have a bat." I open the door more and swing my arm up. I look down to see the guys all on the floor. "You've got to be kidding me. What are you doing here? How long have you been here?" They all look at each other while I stand wait for them to respond. "Uhh, well, we." Luke struggles with his words. "We slipped in while you were talking with Jamie." Calum says this while Michael hits him at the same time. "Guys, at least know before you come in." I roll my eyes and flop onto my bed.

"She wants to take it slow." I finally get it off my chest

Jamie's POV

I get to the store and to look for all the items we need back at the house. "What else should I get while I'm here?" I go down all the aisles until i came across one item that stood out more then anything. I go into a whisper and look around me.."condoms..." I shake my head and continue on my way. Before I even get out of the aisle I turn back and grab a box quickly going to the check out.

The girl scanning the items get to the box of condoms, scans it, looks at me winks, and slides it into the bag. All my things gets put into bags and I leave the store. I get up to the complex and go through all my bags looking for the box. Once I find I stick it into my purse and head to the apartment.
