Alfred Jones' (America) Point of View

So this was it. Damn humans. Did they even give thought to where we nations were going to end up? Why? This could not be the end. Then again, humans never really knew of our existence.

For hundreds of years, we have lived amongst the humans as one of them. No one knew or thought of us as their beloved land that they walked on. We experienced history with our very eyes and hearts. We were never allowed to make much human contact. This was because humans have a limited life span. We nations don't. If we were to get attached to a human, it would cause us pain. So much pain that it would stop us from performing our duties as countries.

But nobody said anything about countries falling in love with each other. In fact, I was one in that case.

As a human once said,

"Nations don't have friends. They have interests."

It was true. We nations often played dirty, trying to conquer more land, or invade more countries. The truth is, there is no such thing as a good country. But there is also no such thing as a bad country. Why? Because, nations have done both good, and terrible things to hurt their people and each other. In the end, nobody wins.

But let me tell you, what I felt for another country, was far beyond and interest in land or technology. It was, you could say, love. We can feel what happens to us historically. But we are also keen to a part of us that is somewhat... Human. That part allows us to feel love.

But I'm just getting off-track now. Let's get to the real point. I fell in love with another nation, we started dating, yadda yadda. The point is, the stupid humans are planning to move to a different planet and our beautiful Earth has come to an end.

6 hours, 58 minutes till the world ends.

"Okay, this sucks so much!" I said as I plopped down on a big chair. We were at an 'end-of-the-world' party for all nations. We all gathered around a screen that showed people destroying our land and cities. The worst part was, we were to watch our fellow nations suffer from the pain and slowly disappear one by one.

"Don't you guys agree? This is not a party! It's plain torture! We started out with over 200 of us countries and now we're down to 53!" I complained.

"I agree with Amerika-San," Oh, I forgot to mention one thing. I'm dating Japan.

"I agree too with moldy-cheeseburger," Yao Wang, the personification of China said.

"Oui, for once I agree with America," France spoke.

"I actually is not very much agreeing. I liking this party," Russia smiled. Everyone stared at him. Of course he would like this kinda thing.

"Whatevs. I'm going to get more pizza rolls," I said as I walked to the table with all the food. Japan followed me and tapped on my shoulder.
