Our walk consisted of a few more people starring at me and laughing but Grayson made me feel like they didn't exist by the amount of hilariously bad jokes he was telling.
When we arrived go where he was taking me, I was shocked.
He had set up a little picnic in the park.

"Grayson you really didnt have to.."

"Yes, yes I did"
he cut me off.
I blushed as we sat down on the blanket.
He handed me a sandwich and we started talking about the most random things.

"Do you remember when Mr Harris hit his head off the door in science?"

"Yeah! That was hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing. But remember when Mrs Kim tripped over nothing in gym?"

"Oh my god that was priceless, I'm glad that Eth was snapchatting at that moment."

"Haha me too."

That's when it happened.

"Why did you get bullied so much at your old school?"

I felt a lump in my throat.
I wanted to tell him that it's mainly because my dad had left us and people made fun of it, but they also did it because I was short and not skinny like everyone else but the lump in my throat made it a little hard.
I looked away and whipped away a few tears that I had shed and coughed trying to clear the lump up but no luck.

"They did it because uhm.. They did it cause uh..."

I couldn't finish my sentence before breathing in harshly.

"Hey don't cry it's OK I'm sorry that I asked."

"No Grayson it's OK really it's fine."

He wrapped his arms around me and I wrapped mine around him.
We sat there hugging for a little while when my phone started ringing.
I answered and it was my mom.
She told me that she wanted me to go home because Ella and Jessie (Jessie is my younger cousin) wanted to spend time with me.
I hung up and told Grayson that I had to go home.

"Oh, ok well... Let's go."

He smiled causing me to crack a small smile as we left.
