Chapter 29

After we all finished the warm up we did basketball.
Most the class whined but I was happy.
Ethan was team 1's captain and Grayson was Team 2's captain.
"Grayson you pick first"

"Alright um......"

I knew he wasn't gonna pick me... I may be his girlfriend but that doesn't mean...
I was pulled out of my thoughts by Grayson calling my name,

"Elizabeth 😉"

I blushed and everyone else groaned as I walked up to Grayson and stood next to him.
He put his arm around me and then said
"Alright I got my team everyone else you're on your own."

He went to turn around when the teacher laughed.

"that's cute and all Grayson but we need to make the teams fair so get your but back over here."

I giggled as he sighed and turned around to go back to his spot.
Once everyone was put in teams, the game started.
I got my team 7 baskets and the other teams had 5 so they got stuck using the school showers as a punishment for loosing.
After I got changed I walk out of the gym to see Grayson waiting for me.

"Hello beautiful"

I snorted.

"What?"

"1. That was cheesy and 2. I'm not beautiful."

"Whatever you say beautiful."

He winked and smirked and blushed.
He leaned down to kiss me and the we started walking to class.
Everyone else was already there so it was just us in the hallway.
As we were walking by the front door, I seen the same face had seen at my front door this morning in the window.
Jerry was here and he wasn't alone.
He had at least 5 men with him and they were all armed.
Jerry was smiling evily at me as j moved in closer to Grayson.
He stopped walking and in the worst spot too.

"What's wrong ?"

I clenched my teeth together and said

"the window....."

He glanced up and then back down at me.

"Don't worry everything's gonna be OK I promise.."

I sighed.

"O-ok.."

He kissed my forehead and we started walking again when the P.A system went off.

"Secure the building! I repeat, SECURE THE FUCKING BUILDING!!!"

Grayson grabbed my hand and we ran.
The girls bathroom was closest and it had a lock on it so we went in there.
I ran into a random stall and Grayson followed as I sat down on the bench that was there to put your bag and other shit on.
I brought my knees up to my chest as Grayson sat next to me.
He sat criss cross and then pulled me onto his lap.
I was shaking like crazy.

"Baby, listen alright? We're gonna be alright."

I nodded.
I trust Grayson but not the jerry dude my mother is dating.
I heard the door open and I froze.

"Hang on,.."

Grayson got up and walked out of the stall.

"Well well well.. if it isn't pretty boy. Where's your little minion?"

"What are you talking about?"

"I'm talkin 'bout Elizabeth."

"She's not my 'minion' she's my girlfriend."

"Same thing."

I heard a click and then an evil laugh.

"If she's not here then neither should you be."

I jumped up and ran in front of Grayson and that's when it happened....
