*Kayla POV*
Ryan and I walked around the venue for hours. We didn't really say much. I didn't know what there was to say. After a while we made it back to the bus, but instead of going inside he pulled me behind it.
"I never apologized." He said, looking down at me.
I shook my head. "You don't have to."
"Kayla, yes I do. Angelo told me how upset you were, after I left. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have done that."
I smiled. "It's okay. You're here now; there's nothing to apologize for."
He grinned, leaning down to kiss me.
The sound of the bus door opening made us both jump.
"Kayla?" Chris called. "We have to go or we're gonna be late."
I sighed, feeling like I would cry. I didn't want Ryan to leave. He grabbed my chin gently and made me look at him. He smiled down at me.
"Warped is almost over." He said. "Are you gonna miss it?"
I nodded. "A little."
He laughed. "Two more dates and you're coming home. I'll be waiting."
He grabbed my waist and picked me up, hugging me tightly. I kissed him after he sat me down, and then he was gone.
I hurried onto the bus and felt it lurch to life, carrying us to the next city. Chris was standing by his bunk, emptying his pockets onto his pillow. I ran over to him and hugged him as tight as I could.
"Thank you so much, Chris." I breathed. "Thank you so, so, so much!"
He laughed. "Are you happy, Kayla? With Ryan? Does he make you happy?"
I smiled. "Happier than I've ever been."
"Then I'm happy, too." He said, grinning.
I hugged him one more time before going to the back of the bus, grabbing my new guitar, and playing the happiest songs I could think of.
