I Know Your Secrets

Landon wakes up about an hour later, still no sign of the bitches.

I need to tell them something.

I hobble over to Jeremy first and wrap him into a clumsy hug, "I....I know we just met but......your special. Man, you're super special, we should call you Captain Special or something." Jeremy gives me a strange look and pats me on the shoulder.

"Landon! You're strange and you scare me sometimes and I don't know how you put up with Megan, but props to you for staying!" I hug him and he hugs me back in a strange kind of way that makes me uncomfortable.

Mike's next, "Mike, I've always thought you were a pervert. And I'm pretty sure I'm right but I don't care 'cause you seem nice and nice people can't be perverts except for my neighbor Wyatt and Mom always told me to stay away from him when I was trick-or-treating because he had BAD things in his bowl but I never really found any bad things in there but this one year I had an open sucker and it was raspberry so I ate it and I got all loopy, it was fun though and-"

"Thank you, Rain. Very....nice? I don't even know." Mike says, kindly pushing me off of him and onto Drew.

"Your turn!" I say to Drew. He wraps his arms around my waist, trapping me there, "I like you....a lot. You're pretty for a boy. It was kinda creepy, the way we met but I don't care. And I'm not really allergic to bees, I just said that 'cause I didn't wanna look stupid for flipping off Bianca, she and Davon almost hit me with their SUV, but they didn't 'cause they were just trying to scare me but it's all good now." Random thoughts I feel the need to tell him spew out of my mouth like they're on fire and I need to get them out before they burn my mouth. In the middle of telling him about how unicorns are probably just living in old people's basements, I stop and decide he looks like he needs to be kissed. I grab the collar of his fitted T-shirt and pull his face to mine. This kiss is different from the usual kind and in a good way. It's fast and hot and filled with passion. We were just standing in the middle of the kitchen but he turns me around and pins me against the fridge. I can taste the alcohol on his breath and I know he's been drinking but I don't care. He could be so wasted he can't stand right now and I wouldn't care. Nothing can ruin this moment.

"So you're all just going to let her whore around?" Ok, except maybe Megan whining.

I push Drew back a bit and step in front of him, pinning him against the fridge with my back, "Who are you to call me a whore? I know your dirty little secret." I giggle.

"What secret? What do you know?" Megan demands, getting nervous.

I laugh like it's the funniest thing I've ever heard, "You and Dean Heck last year behind the bleachers. I know you weren't dating."

Her face turns bright red out of anger and embarrassment, "Who told you about that!? Fiona? Britney? Was it you?"

Both shake their heads and glare at me.

"Who told you?"

"My monitor. She sees all. She tells me all. He helps her but she's the one who sees." I say thinking to Bianca and Davon, I silently wonder where they are for a minute but figure they're dead so they won't be able to get into trouble anyways.

Megan juts out her hip, remembering something, "Well guess what? I have something on you too!"

I shrug and put my hands out as if to say 'go ahead'.

"You have imaginary friends and you talk to a shrink about them because your mom thinks your crazy." She smirks at me, "You can overhear a lot as student secretary in the counseling office."

I smirk back at her, "I don't talk to Dr.Carshaw anymore. And they're not imaginary. Bianca and Davon are as real as you are."

"Oh yeah, so who else has seen them then, huh? Your teddy bear?" Megan taunts.

Drew raises his hand, "I have. I met them. I talked to them. They're real."

Fiona pipes in, "Drew, baby, now she has you going crazy too. I'm not crazy like her. I'm perfect for you, we're meant to be together." She steps awkwardly close to me since Drew is still pinned behind me.

"You know what, Fiona? She's not crazy. And even if she was, I wouldn't care anyway. Because anyone who tries so hard to rip happiness away from two people, is not perfect for me. So lay off. It isn't gonna happen."

I feel sober again but I know I'm far from it. I can concentrate enough to think clearish thoughts for a second, but the blur comes back soon after. I feel Drew's breathing go hard on the back of my neck and I turn around. He's fuming. Drew looks down at me with something I don't recognize in his eyes, "Rain, let's go find Bianca and Davon and tell them we're leaving."

"Kay." I say and I go find them dancing together and tell them I'm leaving with Drew and I have my phone with me if they need me.

"We can go to my place if you want. But my parents are out in Vegas with Landon's parents for a weekend so they're not home. Do you have an issue with that? Because we don't have to go to my house if that makes you uncomfortable or-"

"Boy, quit your worrying. I shall join you in your kingdom, despite the king and queen's absence. Now let's go! It's cold outside!" I say dragging him down to his house.

Drew pulls out a key from his pocket and lets us in. He locks it behind him, "I don't like being home alone, don't hate!"

"I'm here." I laugh.

He backs me up against the door, "And I'm so glad you are." Then we're kissing again and it's like before, like we never took a bitch break in the middle. I'm against the front door, then the closet door, then the bathroom door, then Brette's door, then Arianna's door, then on the wall at the end of the hall, and finally, Drew's door. I look to his silvery gray eyes for any doubt and find none. I reach behind me and turn the knob, opening the door. He closes it with my body and I'm against his door again, just on the other side this time.

He takes off his shirt and I'm shocked by how freaking amazingly sexy he looks with his shirt off. Football and basketball do him good. I'm wearing a camisole with a flowy, teal tank top over it. He bites his lip as if asking for permission. I nod slowly. He takes my tank top off so I'm wearing just the camisole, "Beautiful."

We move to his bed quickly, our hands all over each other. He kisses my neck, slowly moving down to my collarbone. The moment seems to never end and I never want it to. But all too soon we're dozing off, me in his arms. And everyone's right. It's the best feeling in the world.
