I keep to myself as I sit in the library of Ouran Academy. I tug at my size 14 black jumper even though I am a size 8 in clothing. My mum and I had enough money for me to enter this private high school but not enough to buy the uniform also.
Entering the library on the first floor I see that the noise is to loud. Shouldn't there be a Liberian to stop all this ruckus?
Sighing I shut the door and search the other libraries, not one of them is peaceful and quiet. Walking down the corridor I walk to the third music room. I don't hear noise from this one, maybe nobody bothers to come inside this one since there is so many.
Opening the door of the music room rose petal are suddenly chucked at me, I blink and I stand there wiping the rose petals off my black jumper.
Looking up I see a group of seven men all in the correct school uniform. They all look so handsome!
"Welcome" They all say at once with a huge smile on their faces.
Looking around at them all I see a tall blonde hair guy with blue eyes and two tall black haired guys, one wearing glasses and the other isn't. There is two ginger identical twins and a small boy with blonde hair hugging a bunny. And finally...
"Haruhi?!" I gasp.
"Akane!" Haruhi says in surprise "W-What are you doing here?"
"W-Well I was looking for a quiet place to be and..." I trail off "Why are you dressed as a boy?"
The twins start laughing holding onto their stomachs. I stand there head tilted slightly not sure what was quite going on.
As I recall me and Haruhi are in the same classes with the ginger twins...Hikaru and Kaoru!
"Haru-Chan do you know this girl?" The small boy asked. He is...so adorable!!!
"Why yeah, she is in mine, Hikaru's and Kaoru's classes. She's new here today" Haruhi explained.
"Why isn't this so fabilicious!" The tall blonde hair boy places his arm around me "As of today you're the new commoner!"
"Uh, please don't touch me" I say walking away from him.
"Look at you! Walking! So gloriously walking!" He smiles and follows me.
"Tamaki will you just leave her alone! Your acting the same ways you did when you first met me" Haruhi stops Tamaki from following me.
"Mummy! Haruhi isn't doing what I'm saying!" Tamaki yelled looking over to the boy with glasses.
"Kyouya, how do you live with this guy?" Haruhi asked.
"I don't" He says.
There is silence in the room as we all just stand there.
"I'm going to pretend that wasn't the answer" Haruhi sighs.
"I think I should be going now. I obviously have disturbed your...club? And found Haruhi is a some sort of cross-dresser?" I say starting to walk towards the door.
"Why you can't leave yet!" The boy with blonde hair hugs my arm. "You must have cake with me and Usa-Chan!"
"Usa-Chan?" I ask
"My pink bunny" He shows me.
"Oh I see" I crouch to his height and looking at his bunny Usa-Chan "Why he is cute"
The boy looks at me with a surprise face and gives me a bright smile "Yep!"
I am suddenly picked up and span around in circles with Tamaki yelling out "Cute!!!" On repeat.
"Haruhi!" I yell "Help me!"
I am suddenly picked up and I look down to the see the other black hair guy holding me up in the air. I blush darkly. W-Who?
"Mori!" Haruhi rushes over "Thank god your out of that situation"
Mori puts me down to the ground.
"T-Thank you!" I bow my head.
He nods and walks over to the small blonde hair boy.
"I'm really sorry about this Akane, it's quite a handful in here" Haruhi looks at me.
"Ah it's fine" I give her a smile for reassurance.
"You should join the host club, we can turn you into a boy with Tamaki's makeup kit" The twins say in unison as they rest their arms on me.
"Hey I heard that!" Tamaki yells over.
"I don't really want to cross-dress" I admit.
"Then you can become a helper" Kyouya suggested.
"You can make us some of Haruhi's commoner tea!" Tamaki yells.
Well...I guess this is the start of trying to make some friends, at least I'm not getting bullied...a image comes into my mind, I am laying on the ground blood stains all over me from where I was bleeding. The image made me shudder.
"Akane?" Haruhi asks.
"I'll be happy to help out" I say with a smile.
"Yippee! Today you'll be a some sort of host helper? I'll go with that name for now. I'll also let you read in here" Tamaki says.
I smile. This truly it... It's the start!
The leader of the host club is Tamaki Suoh, he is 16 years old and 6' tall.
Next is Kyouya Ootori, he is 17 years old and is 5'11 tall.
Then there is Mitsukuni Haninozuka (aka Honey), he is 18 years old and 4'9 tall.
Takashi Morinozuka (aka Mori), he is 18 years old and 6'3 tall.
The Hitachīīn twins, Hikaru and Kaoru, they are both 16 and 5'10 tall.
Haruhi Fujioka, 16 and 5'1. And she is only in the host club because she broke a really, really expensive vase.
All of these people in the host club are going to be my friends...My heart is beating so much I think it might skip a beat.
Looking around the host club I spot Mori looking at me. He is so mysterious...
I sit at a table reading a book I have been meaning to read for quite a while now. Tamaki said he'll let me read for a while but will probably ask me to do a lot of fantabulous stuff. I haven't got a clue what he is on about half the time.
"Akane!" The Hitachīīn twins walk over to me "Let's play a game!"
"A-A game?" I ask looking up from my book.
"Guess who is Hikaru game!" The stand back to back.
"Your Hikaru" I point to the one on my left. "And your Kaoru" I point to the one on my right.
"Wrong" The say.
"No your right Akane" Haruhi steps in holding a tray of teacups "You know I am the only one here that an truly tell them apart from theirselves. I'm surprised you can tell them apart Akane"
"Well just by looking at them I know who is who" I say looking at them both and see they have switched places without me noticing. I face palm myself.
While Haruhi, Hikaru and Kaoru have an argument about something I notice Mori is looking at me again. He really is mysterious.
"Oh Commoner!" Tamaki calls for me "Please make me and this beautiful young lady some commoner tea"
"Uh okay" I say.
Entering the kitchen I switch on the kettle and find mugs, the milk, tea bags and sugars.
"Two sugars in Tamaki's, one for the guest" Haruhi enters the kitchen and walks over to the sink and starts washing up.
"Oh thank you!" I say going back to making the tea.
"Are you dying yet?" Haruhi asks in a joking manner.
"No not yet" I shake my head "It doesn't seem too bad"
"It gets worst believe me" Haruhi sighs.
"Why don't you quit?" I ask.
"I can't. I have to repay them because of that vase I broke. Hopefully I should be free soon, but to be honest, I actually quite like it here in the host club even know Tamaki can be a pain"
"You must really like Tamaki" I say pouring hot water into the mugs.
"I-It's no like that" Haruhi says sounding embarrassed.
I rather I didn't stick my nose into her business.
I give the tea to Tamaki and the guest and I go back to reading my book before it's time to go home.
"Bye-Bye Akane-Chan!" Honey waves.
"Bye-Bye" I say and wave back once before leaving to go home.
Walking home I realise I will be on my own until 9PM when mum gets home. My dad ran away when I was little and mum hasn't heard from him since, so mum has to work double jobs. She now has to work extra hours just so I could go Ouran Academy.
She said she'll do anything for me to be happy. This is the only school close enough to home.
At least I made friends today. I haven't had a proper friend for quite some time, if I think about it I think my last friend was when I was 8 years old, but then she said she got bored of me and pushed me into a puddle. It can't be helped.
Ouran High School Host Club, eh?
Sounds like it could be some sort of TV show. Anime maybe?
Laying in bed that night I thought about the host club and Mori suddenly sprang to my mind. I hope we have a conversation someday.
