We Have Jungle Fever?!

Entering the host club rose petals weren't chucked at me this time. But when I looked through the door I see the host club room has been turned into some sort of...Jungle.

"Welcome" The host club says.

"Uh hi guys" I shut the door "What is...all this?"

"You see, this club of ours also does cross-dressing" Haruhi explains to me.

"And you have decided to do...the jungle?" I say.

"You see Akane" Tamaki places a hand on my shoulder and raises his other hand in the air. "We have jungle fever!" he sings.

"Jungle f-fever?" I pull away.

As I stand there for a moment and I feel something crawling up my leg, looking down I see a snake hissing at me crawling up higher.

I drop my book on the floor and scream as loud as I can and fall onto my bottom. I crawl backwards until my back hits a wall and the snake starts climbing over me and I scream louder.

"Get it off!!" I scream as I feel tears at the corners of my eyes.

I have never liked snakes since I was little. When I was little we went on a school trip to see different animals and the woman got out the snake and we were all allowed to hold it. When it came to my turn I was the last student to hold it, the snake wrapped itself around my neck and then it start straggling me, I was sent to hospital as fast as the ambulance got take me since I was losing a good amount of oxygen in my body.

A hand was placed on my shoulder and a hand wrapped around the snake's neck pulling it off my leg. Looking up I see Mori was there and taking the snake carefully off me.

Mori looked at me once the vile creature was off my leg and gave me a small nod before chucking the snake into a plastic box.

"Akane are you okay?!" Haruhi crouched next to me as I wipe my tears away.

"I'll be fine, I just freaked out" I say and feel my heart pounding against my chest.

"Akane-Chan" Honey passed me my book.

"Thank you Honey" I take the book politely.

"I suggest you sit down for a moment since that performance was quite shocking" Kyouya pushes his glasses up with his index finger.



I sat at the table again reading my book on my own staying away from their jungle fever, whatever they call it.

"Akane-Chan are you still angry at us" Honey walks over.

"I'm not angry at you, I just can't believe Tamaki would go that far to get a snake just for this one day of cross-dressing" I say.

"I made this for you" Honey says revealing a crown made out of different shades of pink and white big flowers.

"It's beautiful" I smile and I move my head down slightly so he can put the crown on my head.

He puts the flower crown on my blue hair.

"There!" Honey smiles "You look so pretty"

"Thank you Honey" I smile.

"Honey your guests have arrived" Kyouya steps in and looks at me "That crown looks...nice"

"Thanks Honey made it for me to cheer me up" I say and watch Honey skip off towards the sofa to talk to his guest.

"Actually, we have a girl who would like to speak to you" Kyouya says.

"To me?" I blink "Wouldn't she rather talk to one of the actual host"

"She said she wanted to meet you" Kyouya says "Renge"

There was a rumbling sound and the table shook. I sat there gripping hold of the chair as I hear a girl laughing.

A girl appears before me "It's me Renge Houshakuji, the host club manager and I am in love with Haruhi!"

"Wait what? But Haruhi is a..." My mouth is covered instantly by Haruhi.

"I need a little word with Akane" Haruhi says taking me into the kitchen.

"Haruhi I'm confuse" I say "Are you a girl or boy?"

"I'm a girl...cross-dressing as a boy to repay my debt to this host club. Renge doesn't know I'm a girl whereas all the host club does, there for she loves me" Haruhi says.

"I don't think I can handle so much information" I say being honest.

"You don't have to come if you don't want to" Haruhi says.

"Yeah I know but I do want to come here, I'm making friends here and...you guys are really...different" I say.

Haruhi smiles "I'm happy that you think so"



Going back into the club I joined in with their jungle fever, but stayed far away from the plastic box with the hissing snake in the corner.

"Oh Akane!" Hikaru and Kaoru walk over smiling at me.

"What is it?" I ask.

They pull a evil grin and I step back wondering what they are planning. Kaoru picked me up chucking me over his shoulder.

"Eh?!" I gasp "Let me go, put me down!" I say trying to get my way out of his arms.

"Not going to happen" Hikaru says smiling behind me.

"Akane-Chan?" Honey asked seeing me being carried across the club.

"Honey, help me" I say pulling a sad face and my flower crown goes wonky across my face.

"I'll get help Akane-Chan!" Honey demanded and ran off and came back with Tamaki.

"How is Tamaki going to help me?!" I demand

"Now, now, Akane, I happen to be the best at sorting this idiots out" Tamaki said then cough "Oi you idiots! Just what do you think you are doing to my other daughter Akane!"

"D-Daughter?" I shudder, my hopes and completely washed away.

"Why we are just putting her in a more cool place" Kaoru says and sits me high up in a tree. "There"

"Mummy, Kaoru isn't doing what I'm saying!" Tamaki says fake tears pouring down his face.

"M-Mummy?" I ask.

"It's this thing he does, I'm his daughter, Kyouya is the mummy and your now my sister and the others...to be honest I can't remember" Haruhi rubs the back of her head.

"Uh...okay but can you guys just get me off this tree?! I hate heights" I say admitting my fear.

The twins started laughing "Heights? Really?! surely you must of been on a plane before"

"No, I have never been on a plane before" I say "Now can you get me down?!"

"Uh, that's quite high" Haruhi looks up to me.

"Y-You think?" I say hugging the tree.

"Takashi" Honey looked over to Mori.

"Yes" Mori nods and walks over to me and holds out his arms to me "Jump, I'll catch you"

This is the first time I have heard Mori's voice. So chilled out and casual.

It wasn't that far down but I still hate heights. I place my hands on his and jump down holding onto his hands as hard as I can do I don't lose myself.

"Mori-Senpai" Haruhi says.

I blush darkly and pull away from Mori and look up to him "T-Thank you yet again!"

He places a hand on my blue hair and ruffles my hair with a smile on his face "Yeah" He picks up my flower crown off from the floor and places it back on my head.

There is silence in the room before we call hear the bell.

"Time to go home Takashi!" Honey grips hold of Mori's arm.

Mori gives Honey a piggyback.

"Bye you guys!" Honey yells as he hugs Usa-Chan.

I stand there watching Mori and Honey leave.

"Our plan went great" Hikaru said.

"What was your plan?" I ask turning to face them slightly mad.

"For you to have a moment with Mori" The lean against each other grinning.

"BAKA'S" I yell before storming out of the music room blushing.
