New Years!

There was a knock at the door and I new exactly who was behind it.

"I'll get it!" I yell and rush over to the door.

Opening the door I smile.

"Still waddling" Hikaru gave me the thumbs up.

"Baka!" I demand smiling and moved out of the way "Come in"

Hikaru pats my head walking through the door first. Then Kaoru enters the door and bows his head.

"Akane"

"Kaoru" I bow my head back.

We all enter the living room.

"Anyway" I say and raise my hands in the air "Happy new years eve!"

"Baka" Hikaru teased and took a snack from the table.

"Make sure you save some for the others" I say.

"Tamaki won't mind, he needs to lose some weight" Kaoru says taking a piece of cucumber and dipping it in dip.

Mori stands behind me holding on to my shoulders squeezing them slightly. I know he is worried about me being near Kaoru but I know Kaoru won't try anything again.

"Mori why don't you go and collect the others?" I ask moving my head back to see Mori's face.

He looks down to me ands nods "Sure"



I wave Mori off as he drives off in his car.

Shutting the door I turn to the living room to find the twins still picking at the food and watching the TV.

"Oi Akane" Hikaru turns to me.

"H-Hai?" I ask.

"Do you have any cola?" He asks.

"Ah sorry we only have coffee, tea and hot chocolate because of the cold weather we have been getting" I say.

"No cola?!" Hikaru demanded.

"S-Sorry Hikaru" I bow my head five tails.

He sighs "I'll go buy some from the shop" He pats my head "You'll be fine with Kaoru, yeah?"

"Don't silly, I'll be fine" I lap my hands at him.

Waddling to the door I wave goodbye to Hikaru, it is quite a walk to the superstore, I hope he'll be okay in this weather.

Shutting the door once again I am left alone with Kaoru. Sitting down next to Kaoru I see he is looking down his ginger hair covers his eyes.

"Say Kaoru...let's go for a walk" I say standing up and grab my coat.

Kaoru stands up instantly helping me with my coat "What if Hikaru comes back?"

"He'll find the hidden key, it's under the flower pot" I wink at him wrapping my scarf around my neck.



Locking the door behind me, me and Kaoru start walking side by side, I bury my hands in my coat pockets keeping myself in my scarf.

"Do you usually take walks with Mori?" Kaoru asked bringing up conversation.

"Sometimes, but since the weather we stay inside" I say.

"Do you still read lots?"

"Well...I have recently read loads of parenting books" I say.

"Of course, your going to be a mother soon" Kaoru whispers.

"Kaoru..." I look over to him "You still like me don't you"

"I..." He looks over me and then looks away "Y-Yeah. But I ruined our friendship that day didn't I"

"Kaoru I forgive you for that day you know" I say looking over to him "It just really... Upset me. I was scared...all I wanted that day was for you to apologise for the time at the Nekosawa's mansion. It went wrong and I gave up to you"

"I'm really sorry I took advantage of you" Kaoru looked at me and stopped grabbing my shoulders.

"Kaoru!" I gasp shutting my eyes tightly and open them see Kaoru looking straight at me I'm the eyes.

"I still like you Akane! But I won't do anything to hurt you again ever!" Kaoru yells "Do you understand?!"

I wince and pull away from Kaoru holding onto my stomach.

"K-Kaoru..." I say.

"Akane?" He asked holding out his hand.

Looking down to the ground I looked up to Kaoru "My waters broke"

Kaoru stares at me .

I lean over slightly taking deep breaths "Kaoru it hurts!!!"

Kaoru walks over to me holding my hands "What do I do?!"

"Phone an ambulance for gods sake! The baby is coming Kaoru!!!!"

Kaoru quickly pulls his phone out and calls '999' demanding they get am ambulance here quickly.



Kaoru sits me down on a bench as I take deep breaths my eyes watering.

"C-Call-Mori" I say in between breaths "Tell-Him-To-Get-To-The-Hosital-As-Fast-As-He-Can"

"Right" Kaoru says.

I hear the ambulance coming up and I give a sigh of relief. Thank god.

"Mori?" Kaoru asked. "Hey Kyouya, where's Mori...right...yeah well tell Mori to get to the hospital as soon as possible...Akane's in labour" Kaoru hangs up and helps me stand up.

The people help me into the ambulance.

I scream and start shaking.

"Kaoru it's coming, the baby is coming" I start crying.

They lay me on the bed inside the ambulance and strap me in and they shut the door.

I squeeze Kaoru's hand tightly.

A person stays at the end of the ambulance incase anything else happens.



They rush me into hospital my head spinning.

"Kaoru, where's Mori?" I ask turning my head over to him.

"I don't know Akane" He says.

"Alright Akane, your going to have the push" The doctor pulled rubber gloves on.

"B-But Mori isn't here yet" I sob squeezing Kaoru's hand.

"Miss Akane you can't hold on much longer, I suggest you start pushing" The doctor advised me.

I squeezed Kaoru's hand tightly and screams as sweat runs down my check.



"Again Akane"

I scream and squeeze Kaoru's hand digging my finger nails into his skin.



"Once more Akane"

I exhaled before pushing as hard as I could the sweat rolling down my forehead the tears spilling down my cheeks. I gasp for air and lean my head back releasing Kaoru's hand.

I hear a baby cry...



"Akane" Mori rushed in bag on his shoulder, he looks at Kaoru and nods.

Mori takes my hand dropping the bag at the side and he looks at the baby in my hand.

"He was born at 12:01. January 1st." I say.

"New years baby" Mori smiles "It's a boy?"

I nodded "Yeah"

"What shall we call him?" Mori asks holding my hand.

"Morinozuka Seiji?" I look up to Mori.

He smiles "I like it" he gives me a peck on the forehead.



Everyone else got to see the baby and hold him for a moment.

Tamaki was crying his eyes out that he couldn't even touch the baby.





The reason why Mori was late wasn't because when they got Tamaki he was crying and wouldn't get in the car.



Kyouya had to chuck him in the boot...
