We pulled up to the school. I got out of the car and turned to say good bye to my mom.
"Bye, honey." My mom said as I grab my clarinet.
"Bye, see you in a little while." I said as I shut the door.
I walked out into the building through one of the sets of double doors.
Right after I walked past the offices I saw Bettany.
"Hi." I said as I walked up to her.
"Hey!" She said with a big smile. "If you wait a minute I'll walk with you to the band room."
"I can wait." I said as. She smiled and walked into the office.
I waited outside the office. About two minuets later she came out.
"Come on, we can go now. We will be early but we can hang."
"Ok." I said as we started to walk. "So you help in the office?"
"Yes I do. It's really fun. I like it a lot."
"That's really cool."
"Yeah it is pretty cool. So why are you just now going to a class at a school?" She asked.
I told her all the about how Miss Jankins wanted me to try out, and how my mom made me do it. I left out the deal, I didn't think that there was a point of telling her about the deal I turned down.
Right after I finished the story the bell rang. We grabbed our chairs and our stands and sat down.
I got greeted by Kimber, Grant, Nixon, and Shana. I was very happy I had so many people to talk to, but it was kinda weird. I wasn't used to it.
About five minuets later Mr. Jamison walked out and we did some warm-ups and played some songs.
After class I put I my chair and stand away, then walked out the door. I walked with Grant and Bettany.
"How are you liking class so far?" Grant asked as we walked.
"I'm loving it!" I said with a big smile.
"That's great!" He said.
Right after he said that we got to his class.
"See you tomorrow." He said as he walked in to his class.
"See ya." I said as I kept walking with Bettany.
"If you want, I'll walk with you from the office to the band room tomorrow?" Bettany said as we got to her class.
"Yeah I would like that." I said with a smile. I have a friend that wants to walk with me!
"You may have to wait a minute."
"That's ok. I can wait." I said. "Bye. I'll see you tomorrow."
"See you!" She said with a big smile as she turned to walk to the front door of the class
