"Are you excited for shopping after school?" Kimber asked as we stood around after class waiting for the bell to ring.
"I am!" Shana said excitedly as the bell range.
"Are you guys excited?" Kimber asked with some what of a worried tone as she got thought that we could not be excited.
"Oh, I'm excited." I said happily.
"I'm excited too." Bettany said.
"Ok then we will all meet here after school." Kimber said as she walked to her class.
"See you guys there." Shana said as she left us too. As she left Grant came up and joined us as we walked.
"So you guys are getting dresses after school?" Grant asked as he joined us.
"Yep. When are you boys getting you suits or what ever you getting?" I asked curiously.
"Tomorrow."
"What boys are going? Just you and Nixon right?" I asked wanting him to answer quickly because we were almost at his class.
No it's not just me and Nixon. Kimbers date is going with us too." He said as he got to his class. "Bye."
Bye." I said frustrated that he didn't tell me who Kimber is going with. "Do you know who kimbers date is?" I asked Bettany hoping she would know.
"He's that really tall third clarinet." She said probably wondering if I knew he was. "His name is Mason."
"Oh yeah. I've seen him." I said as we reached her class. "Bye."
"Bye." she said as she turned went into her class.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Thank you for driving us, Mrs. Smith." Bettany said as she climbed in our mini van.
"It's no problem." My mom said sweetly. "So you guys want to go to that little dress shop in town, right?"
"Yes we do please." Kimber said as she climbed in behind Shana.
"Ok then. Are any of your moms going to meet us there?"
"Mine." Bettany said from the back seat.
"Mine too." Shana said.
"Ok. What about you Kimber?" My mom asked.
"No she's not, she's busy." Shana said as we pulled out of the mad house called the school parking lot.
We all talk about what kinda dress we all wanted, what shoes we want, and all the kinda stuff. We pulled up to the store.
"There's my mom." Bettany said with a smile, looking at a white car of some sort.
And there's my mom." Shana said as a car pulled up that had some sort of sign thing on the window.
We all got out of the car and went in the store. Shana stayed outside for a minuet to greet her mom.
Bettanys mom was already in the store looking at some dress that were very brightly colored.
Bettany walked over to her mom and said hello.
"So I was think that we should all be matching in some way." Kimber said. "Like all have the same colored shoes, same colored dress, or something like that. What do you guys think?"
"That's a cool idea." I said getting excited. "I like the idea of the same color shoes."
"I do too. We will have to see what color goes with all our dresses. That is if we all like that idea." Shana said with a hopeful tone.
"I like it." Bettany said getting slightly distracted by all the pretty dresses.
"Ok then lets look at dresses and all pick two that we think would look nice on yourself then we can all try them on at the same time." Kimber said.
"That's a great idea." My mom said as we all started looking.
After about ten minutes we all had two dress.
We all tried them on then came out and we all hated them they were to bright of colors.
We tried on the other ones they were all beautiful.
Mine was a silver sparkly dress that had a high square neck. It went down to just above my knee. Plus it fits me just perfectly.
"That looks so good on you!" My mom said happily.
"It does." The rest of them agree.
I looked over at Kimber and Shana and they didn't look very happy about there dresses. But when I looked over at Bettany and she looked happy.
Bettanys dress was black. It looked like it was sleeve less but it had lace see trough sleeves.
"That looks so good on you bettany." I said happily.
"It does. I love it." She said look down at the dress.
"Can we keep these on for a few more minuets so we can make sure we like them?" I asked hopingly.
"Yeah. If you want." My mom said.
Me and Bettany helped Shana and Kimber look for dresses.
They both tried on a few more before finding some they liked.
Shana found hers first. Her dress had a high neck line that went all the way up to her neck. It went to just above her knees. It had gold accents all over the dress.
"That looks so good!" We all said something like that when Shana came out.
A few minuets later Kimber found a dress. It was a bright silver gold sparkly dress. It had thin straps and a gold belt.
We all told her how great she looked. She had a big smile on her face.
"So is ever one happy with they're dresses?" My mom asked.
"Yep I think we are." Kimber said happily.
We all went and got changed out of our dresses and then we paid for them.
"So where should we go looking for shoes and clutches?" My mom asked as we left the store.
"Well there's that one shoes store on fourth street." Bettanys mom said.
"That will work." I said.
"We have to go back to work." Shanas mom said motioning to her and Bettany mom. I think they work at the same place if I remember correctly.
Shana and Bettany said good bye to they're moms. We all climbed into my moms car.
We went to that store on fourth.
"So I was thinking maybe we should all get dark blue shoes. What do you guys think of that?" Kimber asked as we walked in the store.
"I like that idea." I said as we started to loo.
After about five minutes I found a pair of flats that were very cute. There were the right blue that we all agreed on. Plus they had my size.
I walked over to my mom In the shoes.
"Those look good. They'd look good with your dress." My mom said as I walked up to her.
"Those look great!" Kimber said as she walked up. "What do you think about these?" She said holding up a pair of heels. They had straps that looked supper cute.
"Those are cute!" I said excitedly. "They'd look good with your dress too."
"I like them." She said as she put them back on.
I walked around a little more and found Bettany that found a pair of dark blue combat boots.
Then I went to see were Shana was. I found her wearing a pair of heels that looked like boots that were also the right color.
"Are we done here?" My mom asked.
"No we need clutches. I think we should all get black ones. What do you guys think?" Kimber asked.
We all agreed with Kimber.
We all found black clutches that were just a little different than the others.
