I woke up the next day to my phone going off. I rolled over and saw that it was seven thirty. I grabbed my phone.
It said I had an unread message from Kimber.
'I couldn't wait any longer. HOW WAS THE DATE?!' I smiled as I read the message.
'Can I call you and tell you?' I asked hoping the answer was yes.
'of course you can.'
I called her.
"How'd it go?" Kimber asked as she answered her phone.
"It went great." I said happily.
"Tell me everything." She said, you could hear the excitement in here voice.
I told her ever detail.
"That's amazing." She said after I told her everything.
"Yeah. I guess it was amazing." I said thinking about the whole night.
"I have to go. But I want you to tell me all of it again in person." She said. I smiled at her excitement.
"OK. Bye."
"Bye." She said as she hung up the phone.
When I looked down on my phone after she hung up I had a text from Grant.
'Do you want to go for a run?' I was so happy that he anted to go for a run. We used to go on them all the time, but we've both been so busy, we haven't had the chance.
'I would love to go for a run. Meet me here in like and half an hour?'
'How about I meet you at your house in about ten minutes, and we run to food?' When I read that it made me happy.
'let's do that.' I sent happily.
'See you then.' I got up and walked over to my closet.
I grabbed my Nike t-shirt. Then I grabbed a pair of Nike leggings from my dresser. I grabbed a pair of socks then walked down stairs.
I sat down on the bench and grabbed my Nike tennis shoes that Were black and mint blue.
I went into the kitchen and saw my mom walk out of her room.
"I'm going for a run with Grant."I said as she walk up to me.
"Oh. OK. That's fine. Have fun. Do you need food?" She asked as she walked in the kitchen.
"No we are running then getting food somewhere.
"OK. Have fun." She said as she grabbed a bottle of water out of the fridge.
"I will. See you in a bit." I said as I walked out the door.
I sat on our little wall that was outside my house.
I saw him walk up to my yard.
"Ready to go?" He asked as he walked up.
"Yeah." I said as I stood up.
We walked across the yard. when we reached the sidewalk we started to jog.
"So....... How was the date?" He asked as we Jogged.
I told him every thing about the date, Other then the kiss.
"That sounds really cool." He said after I was done tell him all about it.
"Yeah I guess it was." I said now thinking about the kiss, and how it felt.
"So, Are you excited about the band trip next weekend?" He said as we got to the park.
"Yes. I'm really excited. Are you excited?" I asked as we joked through the park.
"Yeah. Why are you excited to go?" He asked as we reached the end of the park.
"I get to spend a weekend with all my friends." I said as we stopped to catch our breath.
"Are you sure it's not because you nee boyfriend is going?" He asked with a smirk.
"No. That's not why I'm excited." I said getting a little mad.
We stood there in silence for a minute.
"Where do you want to go and eat?" He asked after a minute.
"You choose." I said as we started to walk towards town.
