As Annabelle walked down the road, she tried very hard to ignore the fact, that everyone was staring at her, but it made her very annoyed. In today society, no one should be amazed by the fact, that a girl, with dark blue hair, wearing black, ripped skinny jeans and a white sweater with words "I'm not a morning person", had existed. These days, life is full of people like her.

Pissed off, she turned around the corner to a dark valley where there weren't as much people, and feeling more free, she put on her headphones and loud music immediately burst through them. Annabelle felt calm now, more relaxed, as the world she hated so much slowly disappeared. She didn't quite understand where she was, though perfectly knew where she was going.

"Yo, Sammy, what's up?" Annabelle sits down on an old, almost completely torn sofa and fixed her eyes on a tall guy with black greasy hair pulled up in a man-bun standing in the corner.

"What do you want?" he glared at her, clearly not happy with her unexpected visit.

"Whaat? I just came to see my friend. I haven't seen you in ages. Since the last incident we had, right?"

"I told you, I'll give you back the money, when I'll have some. I'm completely broke now, Ann."

"Bullshit" Annabelle frowns. "Just a couple days ago I saw you at "Doll". The stripper that was dancing for you was almost swimming in money."

"Okay, maybe I do have some" he sighs and goes out of the room. After a couple minutes, he comes back, with a little suitcase. "Here, this should be enough."

Annabelle opens it and counts the money. Three thousand dollars lay there, all hers. She smiles to herself, with an image in her mind, spending all of it on clothes, and closes the case.

"Thanks, sugar" she kisses him on his cheek. "You know I love you, right?"

"Just get out" Samuel sighs and points his hand to the door. Annabelle chuckles and does as he says.

Now, when she got what she wanted, it was time for her to do what she wanted. She quickly rushed to the nearest mall and let herself wander freely. Just like any other woman, Annabelle was addicted to shopping. What could possibly be better that walking around the stores for hours, trying on various things, buying stuff you won't need. Ahh, the true joy of life, that couldn't get any better. Especially today, since she knew, that after a couple days, Annabelle will be able to see her old friend again.

Dianna was a 29 year old model, that had a successful carrier. After the both of the finished high school, Annabelle, with the help of her foster-parents, got in to a good college, where she studied art, and later dropped out, but because of Diana's great looks and irresistible charm, a famous model agency took notice in her, and she started living her dream at the age of 19. At first, Annabelle had thought, that fame will change her friend completely, but everything stayed the same. Though after a year, Diana had to move and as much as it hurt Annabelle, she had to let her friend chase her dreams. So she did, and Diana flew away from her. After that, she saw her friend only on television and in magazines, talking to her very rarely and on special occasions. Finally, they stopped communicating.

But about 3 years ago, Diana finally remembered that she had a friend called Annabelle, and visited her, expecting to see a rising artist, but only facing the hard reality of a college drop out and a drug addict. Back then, Annabelle's life was a mess, she didn't understand what she was doing, where she was or what she wanted. She had cut off all her ties with her foster-parents, when they decided to get her married. After that, she lost all her support and was left on streets. Using only her body, Annabelle tried to survive as hard as she could, but getting a job wasn't easy. So she picked the easiest  solution - and became a pole dancer. That's when the second most horrible days in her life began. Every night, Annabelle had to hook up with strange, old men, get called different names and after getting the money, go back to dancing. Some didn't event treat her as a human being. But she didn't care, all she wanted was to get back on her feet some how. After some time, drugs became her friend and life didn't seem as hard as before.

That was when Diana found her, going home to her little apartment in the deep pits of the most dangerous neighborhood, drunk and high on drugs, not caring about anything in the world, just wanting to die. That's when she sent her old friend to rehab, got her a nice apartment in the center of the city and took care of her. After realizing what had happened to her life, Annabelle felt grateful to her, for doing such a thing. And that was the moment when she found herself a new dream, a dream, that she was determined to fulfill, a one, that won't die like the last on did, and started to work towards it. Annabelle wished to repay her friend as much as possible.

That's why she was so happy of the thought of Diana getting a few days off work and seeing her again. Annabelle leaned back in her chair, smiling to herself, as old memories from high school flashed through her mind. But a tall figure standing next to her cut her train of thoughts.

"Hello" said a tall, skinny black haired boy, wearing dark blue skinny jeans and a red shirt, staring at her with two dark brown eyes and slightly blushing.

"Why hello there" Annabelle smiles, looking up at him, amazed by how nervous he was. "How can I help you?"

"I was wondering I- uhhh, if I could get your number?" his face turned completely red.

"How old are you, kid?" she looked at him from head to tow. "Nineteen?"

"Twenty one"

"Liar liar, pants on fire" Annabelle grins. "I'm not stupid"

"I'm not lying"

"Go away, kid" she shoves him away with her hand. "I'm not a pedophile."

He looks at her disappointed, but slowly walks away. It isn't the first time that something like this happened, but somehow Annabelle seemed to attract only teenage guys.

Probably because of the hair.

She was almost thirty, it would be a great time for her to find a decent husband, as much as she enjoyed a loners life.

With these thoughts in mind, a loud scream pierced her ears and shook her back in to reality. She looked around, curious of what had happened and noticed a huge crowd a little further away from her, surrounding something. She got up, and walked towards it, just like many other people did. On white, polished tiles, covered in dark red blood, laid a lifeless body of a young, blond teenage girl. Terror and fear were held in her forever still eyes, a loud scream still stuck in her forever silent mouth. And an old lady, possibly her mother, knelt beside her, holding her in her arms and crying in to her chest, where just moment ago a young heart used to beat.

Suddenly, Annabelle remember that day and became extremely tired, her knees turned weak and moments later she found herself on the cold ground, searching for something familiar, that would bring her back to the real world before she blacked out, but was too slow, and everything turned black.
