Bolting up and running to Chelly, I connected to her memories, something only Alphas could do. Watching through her eyes, I watched as she saw an enemy approaching.

Eighteen wolves were coming in quickly. Anger coming off of them in big, horrible waves to Chelly. Saliva was flying around, and growls from each wolf was in a low humming sound in pitches differently.

Swinging out of her head, I grabbed Will's arm and shoved us both out the window. Landing as wolves, my claws dug deep into the dirt as I called onto my wolves. It was a wolf fight, my other pack members weren't needed and couldn't fight. Pack law.

Feeling the heat pouring off of Will, I let out an angry howl at the wolves. Heading straight towards the wolves. Over powering them by a good ten wolves. It would either be an easy fight, or something fierce. I was hoping for an easy, quick and no casualties on my part kind of fight right now.

Finding the clearing that was between us, I stopped in the middle with my wolves taking my flanks. Showing off my obvious Alpha status to the now audible wolves. The sounds of the thundering paws against my land made my blood boil, and my jaw snapping, showing off my larger than normal and a hell of a lot sharper fangs.

Whoever stepped onto my property would be messing with the wrong pack. My pack.

Feeling someone brush up against me, I felt sudden sparks shoot from my back leg. It was William, coming next to me. Showing off his new status as my Alpha male in my pack, and my mate. To both to enemy and my pack. Normally my Wolf would have swelled up with pride, but her pack was more important. No one was going to die on my watch. Or hers.

Seeing the first wolf barrel out of the woods, I growled. Watched their head snap into my direction, clearly caught off guard I smirked a wolfy grin. Feeling myself let go of my wolf, I shifted to a human. Showing no fear of them knowing my face, they would know the face of the one who controlled the time of their life now.

“State your business.” I called. Watching as more wolves poured into the clearing. The wolf who came out first was a simple brown wolf, with a white patch over their left eye. Showing off his golden wolf eyes, and his horrible wolfy grin to me. He shifted, obviously not caring he was now naked. And very obviously a Male.

“You’ve stolen one of my wolves.” The male called out. His voice was deep, and hardly threatening to me. His eyes went from my face, and having an eye challenge to William. I let out a way too wolf growl, and felt myself tighten from the anticipation of protecting what was mine.

Will shifted to his human self, and stood beside me. I pushed him behind me, and made the male make eye contact with me. “He’s mine now.” I threatened. “No trespassers on my land. Especially threatening to cause a fight.”

The man laughed. His name is Markus. He was my alpha before I came to you. William spoke through our mind link, catching me slightly off guard. I must have brought my wall down to him, No. I brought it down. My wolf smirked.

“You must be a young alpha, because you don’t understand pack law.” Markus spoke, still laughing at something I hadn’t caught. His golden eyes were obviously his wolf’s, and he was ready at any moment to fight me. But his obvious relaxed body language told me he thought he’d easily win with me.

“Obviously you’re too stupid of an alpha to know abusing a wolf of your pack is against Pack Law, also. Allowing the abused wolf to leave and find an obviously better and more suitable pack.” I spoke, watching as Markus stopped abruptly laughing. Catching my eyes, Markus narrowed his in anger.

“Watch what you say, women.” He spat. I barred my teeth at him. “You are nothing, you are just a thing to bare children. By no means do you have any right to be running a pack by yourself. Let alone, having no male besides you. You have a female beta, and a pussy pack.” Markus laughed.

That struck a nerve. And that nerve was my fits clenching.

Walking into the clearing, closer to Markus, I could feel Will try to stop me. I held him back with my alpha authority, something I’ll hear about later. Walking straight up to Markus, I was at his level. Clearly astonishing him with my height. And matching his eyes, I began a starring contest. Seeing who would break before the other.

“My pack, is better trained and more mannered than your grizzly excuse of a pack. A group of old, mean and rude bullies. Boys who have no respect for women. In other words, I challenge you.” I spoke.

Markus gasped, and blinked. Meaning I won. Smirking, I continued.

“A one on one fight. Me versus you. Just us, and not a single pack member of either packs will jump in. Accept it? Or take the title of a man who couldn’t defeat a women.” Catching his eyes again, “Seeing as you have no problem with beating them around as it is.”

“I accept it.” Markus smirked, thinking he’d won the lottery.

If only he knew what powers I possessed.
