Waking up to the bright sun was one thing, but waking up to Sam's fear and saddness was the worst thing. Everything was either buzzing or tingling in my body. My lips tingled from the countless kisses Sam and I had shared, my body buzzed with the memory of Sam's touch and then the..

Swinging my hand to my collar bone, I felt the freshly made mark Sam gave me. My stomach did flips, and I could barely believe it at all. We had mated, or started to. The biting was usually the step after us becoming one, and having.. well, sex. But, we skipped that.

Thinking back to that, I sensed her saddness and I began to fear things. What if I messed up? What if i ruined everything? What if she never wanted me again? What if I lost her completely?

I looked towards her, and tilted my head in a question mark. "She is sleeping, leave her alone." Chavella said, and took a sip of the tea. Humming in satisfaction, Chavella was obviously standing guard for Sam.

"But, I feel her sorrow and dread... I need to see her." My voice was strong as I shifted to human, but inside I was a nervous wreck. Actually I was falling apart, quickly.

"I understand the overwhelming tugging and pulling to be with your mate, but she is asleep. Be a good boy, and let her sleep. Go find something to do around here," She shooed me off, and stepped inside the house. Bolting the lock behind her, I groaned. Shifting back to wolf, I went off to find something to do... Except I went to find someone..
