The Idea

Riley's pov
Me and Lucas were walking, I was telling him the idea.
"Let me get this straight, you want the school to get rid of the hierarchy?" Lucas asked
"Yes! We should be equal, the school think that we're going be the same thing in the world, they're wrong!" I responded making a point.
Lucas smiled, "you do make a good point." My cheeks started to turn red, after Lucas said that.

We entered the New York City library, as we entered we saw a couple of students here, Maya and my close friend Farkle, he is a nerd he always wanted to take over the world.
"Oh great!" Maya annoyingly said as me and Lucas came. "Huckleberry and Riles are here." When I was five, Maya was my best friend we did things together. She started to call me Riles instead of Riley. It just struck with me.
"Lady!" Farkle said to me.
"Farkle," I then replied. Lucas and I got to a table, and we put our jackets on our chairs.
Maya and Farkle went to the a bay window.

I had my bag here and got my notebook, Lucas was searching in his bag, he got his notebook as well, two pencils, and a textbook.
We sat on the chairs, and talked.
"Do you think that people would not listen, I mean we are the outsiders. No one would-"
Lucas interrupted me.
"Maybe but I think we should do it, outsiders need to think of as unique not freaks. We need hope, believe that there's a possible."
"What if impossible!" I told him. He hold my hand.
"Maybe it's not?" Lucas commented moving closer to me. "I don't know you that much, but you're a really great person." My whole face turned red, Lucas say something to me that no one every told me.

"The reason I'm shy and quiet around people is because I was always being picked on for being who I was, outside of school I'm an cheerful girl who is optimistic about the world." I told him why I'm so shy to others.
"You know what happened when people knew my secret, after that I was pushed, if I was in a fight they will tried to tell the teacher, knowing I would back off." Lucas told me "we should do this, we need to be equal. And not let anyone tell us who we are!"
I smiled at him happy as he agree he was standing up.
"Huckleberry, shut up!" Maya said to Lucas
"Yeah, listen to Maya Penelope Hart!!" Farkle yelled echoing the library.
Lucas sat down smiling at me, "sorry "
"That's fine." I told him.
