Lucas's pov
"I still can't believe we're in high school!" I told Riley while holding her hand. "You dad is the history teacher?"
"Yeah but I think my dad like you now! So don't worry." She let go of my hand as she entered the room. Where all of a sudden, the door slapped right in my face again.
It was Mr. Matthews, "Not today, you will never, never get pass-"
I turned the knob and push the push, making Mr. Matthews's body move again.
"Sir, me and Riley have been dating for a year. Admit it you like me, you're just over protective." I told him as I got it the class.
"That's ridiculous, me overprotective. Prove it!"
"Well when me and Lucas were going to the library, you thought we were on a date." Riley proved my point. "Dad, don't worry it's just Lucas."
"Sorry, sir" I said laughing a little. While Riley kissed me on my cheek. As we took our seats, class started. I sated next to Riley, her best friend Maya sat next to Zay, and Farkle sat next to Smackle.
Mr. Matthews wrote on the chalkboard L-O-V-E. "Love, dating all of you are dating. Even you Riley , dating that Cowboy." Mr. Matthews started the lesson. "Anyway, there is also friendship that also love. Your friends have your back no matter what happens." A sound of a phone alarmed all of us, Riley looked at her phone as I looked at her. "Riley no phone during class." Riley don't listen to her father.
"Riley, are you okay?" I asked her holding her hand.
With a deep sigh, Riley let go of my hand. And raised her hand. "Can I go to the hallway, I think I forgot something?" Mr. Matthews let his daughter go to the hallway with tears in her eyes.
Me and Maya raised our hand. "Maya and Lucas, go." We left to find Riley in the stairs crying.
"Go away, Maya." She looked at Maya " you to Lucas." Looking at me.
"Riles, what's s wrong?" Maya asked sitting next to Riley.
"Yeah, everyday since September 14 you keep on going to the hallway. Now it October 3" I told her.
"It nothing, just leave me alone." Riley said.
"But Riles-" I then interrupted Maya
"Just leave her alone, Maya." We came back to the history nclassroom.
Seeing everyone's hands were up. "No! I told you the 100th time!"
I sat on my seat worrying about Riley. What really wrong? I'm worried about her
