Loki stood before the council, sullen and expecting the worst. Asgard was missing its beloved golden haired prince, and Loki would serve nicely as a replacement, temporary or otherwise. Odin was away on official 'business' to one of the nine realms, no doubt giving a grueling and pointless speech to one of the leaders. There has been a bit of trouble lately and talk of ways to remedying it.
He could rule countless realms...yet he chooses to degrade himself by asking for peace and help in establishing the nine realms as a safe environment for all. Oh, you silly oaf, don't you know that you can never truly expect beings to behave a certain way? You simply can not accept them for what they are, for what they are born to say, think, and do? Ha! How can they take such unyielding power for granted? I would relish in it, harness it, control it. No one will dare risk coming between me and my goal. Not the pathetic excuse for a council, Odin, Thor, nor mother shall mislead me from obtaining rightful power on Asgard.
No one.
